Afternoon all!

I recently bought a HID kit for the A4 and dedicated some time this afternoon to get it fitted.

The driver's side headlight came out fine, but the passenger's side seems to be stuck/melted to the actual panel that the screws go in to:

Has anyone experienced this before? Yet again a 2 minute job becomes a massive one :(

Hang in there pal, advice is coming :)

Success! Well, in some meaning of the word. I managed to get the headlight out.

You can see above the difference in the two sides!

Yup looks like it's been repaired.... I think both sides are broken on mine.... don't forget to do the earthing Mod to stop your ABS light's coming on

I've read countless threads about HIDs recently and not one mentioned that! Why would ABS lights come on following a HID Install anyway?

The ABS and the passenger headlamp share the same earth... the high power electrics of the ballast interfere with the ABS... so seperating the earth fixes it
