Just ordered a BCS powervalve system

As the title I've just got off the phone to Nige at BCS and placed an order for my third BCS exhaust.
Had BCS on my last Golf and my Cupra R before that, hence buying another
The lead time is a few weeks as we know good people are always busy.
I'm also on holiday for a week so probably be the end of July time.
Excited as I've never had a powervalve system so can't wait.
I'll be selling my Cobra downpipe to help hide some of the cost from the wife.

When I bought my S3 last year I said from the start the only exhaust going on it was a BCS.
I bought the Cobra downpipe which got me to stage 2+ and hoped the powervalve setup could be retrofitted to my Cobra downpipe.
After talking to Nige he explained this wasn't possible.
So after a week of will I won't I the decision was made.
Really looking forward to this.

I would be interested to know how this sounds compared to the miltek resonated as I believe you had that as a cat back system before. I currently have the full turbo back milltek resonated with sports cat. It used to be non resonated but was too loud and although I am fairly happy with the miltek I do sometimes feel it could sound better!

I had my Milltek cat back in for about 4 weeks mated to my Cobra downpipe.
My only issues with the Milltek were how noisy (drone) it was after a cold start as I leave for work at 5am and the other was the way the tailpipes sit, they don't come our far enough and no matter how much you fiddle with it they need to be 1" further out.
I'll certainly have something to compare too.

Spoke to Dave at BCS and I'm booked in for next Tuesday morning.
I think I'll be counting the sleeps.
So excited I cant wait.

All excited now.
Left home at 6am and arrived at BCS some 30 mins early only to be met by Dave who came in early too!
As usual very happy and enthusiastic ready to crack on.
Can't wait for the run home.

Well the run back was great!
I find myself pushing on boost quite often as the sounds addictive.
You can cruise at 90mph on the motorway and not even know its there. Push the pedal slightly and she comes to life.
Had a little blast round home and the unique tone they have is something else.
So glad I went for this as even to look at it's sexy.
Too nice to be under the car.
Dave top bloke great job and double and triple checked everything. Is it any wonder they're so successful when they produce things like this.
Once Nige is back off holiday I'm hoping he will send me the pictures Dave took.
For now here's one poor quality pic I took of the amazing double silencer setup.

So glad you're happy, fuel bills might go up a bit though as the new addiction takes over.

No problem Nige although it would've been nice to catch up.
To be honest I think the fuel economy has improved slightly and the other thing I've noticed is that I seem to have gained some low down torque.
I left for work at 5am this morning and it was quiet as a mouse, bet my neighbour is pleased

I am going to get one of these after I move to Chester because Warrington is not far. I think I am going to get the normal Sport system (which apparently sounds like milltek non-res but does not drone like a milltek does!) and then add a high flow cat when I come to remap the car.
