As per the title, what did you buy for your car this month?

- New air fresheners (I like it when my car smells good)
- New CD case to hold random CD's that I never use
- First Aid kit and an emergency hammer thing
- Bluetooth OBD connector (lost my old one) so I can use my Torque app
- Plenty of vPower

I've only just bought my S3 so I'm sure I will have a few bits to add here and there.

Nice :) good thread too! Air fresheners are absolutely critical. I bought some Poorboys air fresheners recently and they were a huge let down.

I have bought new front arms, new wheels, caps and stickers for the wheels, pressed plates, surrounds for pressed plates, sub and enclosure, new scuttle, tyre dressing applicators, and some blue gloves (and diesel, of course).

Wish i could buy car cleaning products my body work is really poor man!
In fairness its been last 6 weeks for me but recently all fitted!!

brand new dual mass fly
brand new 3 piece clutch
2x new front wheel bearings
B5 TIP (billet type)

and then decided to break it, still the TIP and DMF/Clutch will be going on my mk2 golf

SFS Oversize TIP
S2000 filter
SAI delete bits
Catch Can and pipework
Vacuum hose for N249 bypass

What size bung did you use Daz?

I recently purchased:
Clutch kit
DMF
IE rods
550 bosch injectors
Plus a load of smaller bits

Hoping to order a BBT K04 hybrid this month

A spare ABS pump (thanks jason ^^) in case a fault I've been getting shows it's face again.

BBT K300 + super size TIP :jump: buzzing to get it all fitted and mapped up!

When you hoping to be finished?

My car is currently sat on axle stands turboless (among other bits) ready and waiting for this bad boy... I'm at a wedding this weekend but I hope to have her all back in one piece next weekend, but it's gonna be tight!

Then up to bills for mapping on September 11th. . . Can't ****** wait, just want it now NOW NOOOOOOOOWWWW!

Love mine, it's a 2014 five with the 27.5 inch wheel, neon green paint and upgraded front and rear shocks with Fox CTD gear

Nice work Andrew... I ride an olskool orange jump frame surrounded by loads of cool bit. Also LOVE it!

The frames probs about 10 years (or more) older than your's... Still goin strong tho, which is a massive credit considering the way I ride it! lol

Not sure if this counts, but I bought the 3M headlight restoration kit for the S3. Results have been pretty good!

I'll not show mine, don't want you all getting envious

Don't wanna **** on your fire Joey but Dan told me he wasn't taking any more orders as he's going away at the end of the month... If there is still a chance you'll have to give him a shout V soon!

Thanks for the heads up, will try and get in touch with him soon to see whats happening. I'm not gonna lie, I'm slightly jealous you've already got one! You must be buzzing with anticipation to get it all done!

My S3 has had some garage loving this month:

Full Service
Haldex Service
Cambelt & Waterpump
Brake Fluid Change
Fan Vibration diagnosed & sorted
Seat Airbag fault diagnosed
Powerflex Tdi dog bone mount (First Mod :))

She now has to be good whilst I fiddle with the bush eaten A3. :whip:

17" mk1 tt ronals freshly refurbished on Bridgestone tyres. New top mounts and full service including a pollen filter get me lol on my 1.9 tdi. Then spent hours levelling it all up and raising it so the ****** arb didn't rub on the drive shaft. Still all cured handles better than I could of hope happy days

This month I've bought:
Reconditioned power steering rack,
Power steering fluid,
2x track rod ends,
Powerflex Black Series steering rack bush,
Powerflex Black Series front dogbone bush,
Powerflex Black Series rear dogbone bush.

Still to fit from previous months:
New rear discs,
Thermostat,
G13 coolant,
ATE Super Blue brake fluid,
Powerflex Black Series top mounts
AP Coilovers
Dave's adjustable tie arms.

Hoping to get all that done in the next month.
Callum.

I bought some of these as winter wheels, I was so surprised how good it looks on them and even more surprised how much better it handles on them that I ended up selling my 18's!
my dad had 18's as standard on his mondeo he changed to 17's after two punctures from potholes that cost him 500 quid. He reckons it rides better now and hasn't had anymore puntures

Spent far too much on the car lately, timing belt and pump, new conti tyres, new head unit and speakers, new door cards and climate control. New window mechanism next

Turbo and all new gaskets nuts and bolts to go with it
Oil
brake fluid
gearbox oil
powerflex dogbone mount bush
Gunson Eezibleed
and halfords professional socket set

(and i use to ride a Orange patriot)

I ride a baby Orange. Only a G2 :(

Last edited:
Brake rotors, brake pads, R32 ARB's, poly bushes, Supertech valves and springs to name a few things :(

<tuffty/>

Too much!

Brembo 4-pot calipers, hangers, lines, discs & pads (too good to refuse)
Megs headlight restoration it & Lamin-X tint (needed to be done for a long time)
Detailing clay
Detailing spray
Snowfoam
Carlack Wheel Cleaner
AG Vinyl & Rubber Care (why does all this stuff run out at the same time?)

Oh and of course...

1 AITP6 ticket.
