Recently got my black audi and I want to keep it in good nick like it currently is, I'm just curious what the best wax or polish that there is recommended for it? Also other cleaning products like shampoo etc

I would have a look at the Angelwax range which you can get from brodster on here. I have used most of it and for the money you can't beat it. They do a dark wax that would work well on your black Audi,I use Angelwax desirable on my blue Audi A4 which is so easy to use.

Brilliant cheers! What's the best cloth to apply with?

Depends on budget but swissvax best of show is damn good but it's near on £200

Other than that autofinesse do desire at about 120

Or illusion at 75 quid

As for shampoo meguires gold class is a nice shampoo tbh

Either Primo amigo or poorboys black hole for a base/glaze then 3 coats of Angelwax Dark Angel.
Should give you an amazing finish.
Apply with spounge or microfibre applicators.
Buff off with a plush microfibre.
Angelwax QED (quick detailer) for after washing.

+1 on the Prima Amigo glaze. Personally I don't think you can beat Collinite 476 wax, which at around £15 for a tin is a bargain.

I apply wax with a finger mitt, which seems to work well.

What's a plush microfiber? Just a normal microfiber cloth? But I think I'll defiantly look for this sounds good! Where can I get the angel wax black angel from? None on eBay!

I sell nice large plus microfibres £5 each (our competitors sell the same size for £10)

Plenty in stock too

All Angelwax products are fantastic for the price.

Prima Amigo is not an Angelwax product.
U can get it here -

As for microfibres you can get lots of different types.
The plush ones makes it easier to remove the product and less chance of damaging the clearcoat with swirls etc.
I started using the kent ones from Asda and to be fair they do the job well and there is nothing wrong with them.
I use my old ones for door shuts etc.
Be careful tho this detailing malarky is addictive and expensive

Cheers for all the advice mate!
But yeah tell me about it! Been looking at his website and everything's such a decent price I can see me having way to much gear 😂 how often should you wax my car??

I use most of the Angelwax products for cleaning bud and it's quality gear.
I used to decontaminate and apply 3 coats twice a year.
Applying a coat every other month and using AW QED after every wash as a top up

For polish Gtechnic P1, then use black hole Glaze and finish of with a few coats of Autoglym HD Wax

Here is a little Video of the P1:

Hi Jay

Its not that expensive its £18.95 for a 500ml bottle also i would recommend getting the buffing pads (Sonus SFX Pro Applicators Pack 2) they cost £7.95 for a set of 2. Here is the link to the website i get all my car cleaning stuff from. If you scroll down the page you will see the applicator pads.
