You've got a good choice now.

Scorpion,BCS,Milltek.

I've had a Milltek on mine from the beginning, although it's a bit shall we say, customised now,but still going strong.

I'm the sad person that would want to fit mine myself. More satisfaction

Bit of a PITA with the subframe etc.

But....if you enjoy that sort of thing, then all the better.

Do the milltek exhaust break on the welds or something thing I've heard. What about a cobra sport??

Yeah my dad has his own garage so it's cool to go do stuff on my own car. Since I'm not a mechanic

I had one weld on the back box fail at around 45 000 miles, and well over the sort of spec they expect to run.

Result?.....they supplied a new backbox,FOC,and no questions.

Can't complain about that then pal. I like the tips on the milltek. Just bought my S3 had it two weeks can't wait to do a few mods

Nearly sold on the BCS. whats best get BCS to fit, fit yourself or get it delivered and find a local fitter?
Depends how close you are from them.
On my previous cars I've had them fit both and they're fitting my S3 one.
I'm travelling about 130 miles to them but fitting on my powervalve system is free!
Not worth the hassle on messing about on the floor at home and gives me a chance to enjoy it on the run home.

Anyone know what price they're cat back systems r??

Not sure on the price of a catback but they're usually slightly cheaper than Milltek and better quality.
Ring Nige on 01744 610 244 tell him your from this forum and I'm sure he'll sort you out.

Ordered the full turbo back BCS system there myself a few days ago, with sports cat. Nige was telling me they currently have a backlog of about 30, which is a good sign. Cant wait till mine arrives.

Ha would give me another month to save for it jobs a good one lol

Yeah a backlog is a good thing.
I've been waiting for my powervalve system and due to Nige having a backlog and me being on holiday and working shifts we're hoping to get something arranged soon.
I can't wait

My thoughts exactly, how is fitting free?

Sorry probably worded that wrong.
I got a deal on the powervalve system including fitting since its my 3rd system from them in just over 2 years.
Think they charge about £75 to fit a turbo back.

Depends what system you're after.
Think the powervalve system retails at £1394 plus fitting.
The sport system about £150 less.
Nige is a geat guy to deal with and when he can will sort you a forum discount.
Your best dealing direct for your best deal.

Best part of 1500 quid fitted then. Still half minded to get the down pipe and sports cat for around 600 to get to 2+. but got my eye on an uprated turbo so may go the whole hog.

Missus is after a new kitchen so will have to play this one carefully, cheers

If you have that price in mind give Nige a ring you may get a surprise.
If you decide against the BCS system I'll be selling my Cobra downpipe with sportscat if you were interested.

The cobra was fine mate.
I only had the downpipe mated to a milltek but it was too noisy when cold, especially when leaving for work at 5am!
Then I had it mated to original catback which was better than the Milltek but the BCS powervalve system reeled me in.
Its oem quiet until you add the boost then it's unreal.
The cobra downpipe is a cheap and good way of going stage 2+ (especially when I'm selling mine for £300)

I have a Pipewerx 3" downpipe and decat with OEM Cat Back. Fitted for £375 and sound good (check my blog) even keeps the exhaust flap so it's quiet driving off boost. Perfect setup for stage 2+.

I created a thread on it last week, search Pipewerx in the forum.

I got the Milltek stainless steel exhaust for my Audi 2.0 TDI 140 (now remapped to around 180) along with the cat delete/down pipe. Spent a good £700 in total including fitting. Definitely notice a difference in sound (it's a diesel what can I say lol) and the throttle is also noticeably more responsive. Highly recommend the Milltek good build quality and no droning. I reckon it also gives me an extra 5-10hp over the stock exhaust.

The other day managed to quite easily beat a 2008 M3 on the motor from 50mph to 80mph. The torque and mid-range power is great
