3.2 on 35mm h&r springs

I'm on the verge of ordering these, DPM says it will drop my s line the amount required by 20mm. Now my car has done 100k and I'm a little concerned I'll get the drop required. I don't want a slammed look as I commute 70 miles a day, I just want it dropped 20mm and don't want to buy and have it do nothing.

Well after ride height issues with the joms being far too low I fitted eibachs. The ride is nice but should have gone h&r 35mm, the eibachs have raised the car!

My m8 has eibachs on his 3.2 and it does indeed sit quite high, I would say around S-Line height.
My old 3.2 was much lower on H&R's

I've emailed eibach for their opinion as they state it lower but clearly has the opposite affect.

I have Jom coilovers on mine and had no trouble with them being to low

It was a guy in east London that had a 3.2 with Jim's that I went it, it was that car that made me think I'll give them ago.

Wish I'd have taken some pics, the rim was almost touching the arch at the back on its highest setting.

Still not heard from eibach, As a company you can't advertise a drop and have the opposite affect.

I got eibach pro kit and wish the car Sat lower but it feels good when flooring it round a roundabout as,there is no rubbing issues

I did see your post saying if I got the h&r springs and weren't happy you'd swap but the the height issues with the joms stating lowers from 35mm to 90mm , I thought I'd go safe with a 30mm drop from eibach. Lesson learnt I think ! buy h&r springs folks for your 3.2 , judging by the pics I've seen!

H&R 50mm on mine,

You can't get 50mm for the 3.2 due to the load on the axle so I've been told

Mine on bentleys with h&r 45mm mine was a sport

Now on air ride though

H&R are comfy springs even with stock shocks etc good with a full car too had no rubbing with 215/35/19

Just go coilovers, at 100k the dampers will be ruined within months.

Regardless of what suspension setup, none of the cars in the photos look like they'll have problems with everyday things you'd expect of a car from a clearance point of view.

Just go for air ride to protect your spine :-L lol also you will get perfect drop no matter what road etc your on

OK, Eibach sent me a form to fill asking for all the part no.s supplied and the height measurements from wheel centre to arch. I have now noticed the n/s is 10mm higher on the back! Not happy at all!
They are gonna get back to me but have instantly pointed the finger at being fitted wrong. You only need to remove one bolt on the back to fit springs and there's no adjustment on that bolt, so its not fitting issues.

So wish I'd have gone h&r! So many issues with Eibach not doing what it says it will with regards to height. Only found this out after fitting.

No joy with Eibach, they say its within there tolerance.

H&r springs from now on, I won't ever buy Eibach again after reading peoples problems on other car sites.

So is it the pro kit you have?
Eibach do pro and sportline, the latter being the lower of the 2.
When i fitted my mates Eibach pro kit i took an interesting photo of the 2 together. The H&R's are on the right, you can see the different coil spring rates on each spring whereas the Eibachs are the same throughout. This to me shows the attention to detail H&R go to

Yep its the pro kit I have, didnt think eibach did anything other than the pro kit for the 3.2. I will be taking them off in a month or 2 and fitting h&r.

I am looking at getting the H&R 35mm springs and upgrading the shock absorbers at the same time. Which shocks are suited for these springs? I am new to coil suspension, I am used to leaf springs on old Land Rovers that brake your teeth over every bump....

Hey man, just re-surfacing an older post from you. Where you happy with the ride quality of the Eibach pro kit? Did you find it more comfortable than standard S Line springs? Keen to hear your thoughts on how they effected both town and motorway crushing. Thanks in advance!
