Right guys, want to change the standard yellow DRL bulbs to LED.

Does anyone have part numbers for the replacement headlight covers from Audi?

Also would 2 50w LEDs for each headlight be too bright?

Hi Brennan, contact T8ups on this site re your bulbs mate, I got mines from him, well pleased with the results.
As for the four covers, I had a look for the part numbers, but must have thrown out the info. When you contact Audi parts depo re purchasing these tell them of how disappointed you are at having to hack your expensive Audi headlights to bits just to replace a bulb, don't settle for paying full price mate, at worse they will give you a discount if you go on enough, I did and got all four free gratis, result. It makes this mod a hell of a lot cheaper, good luck.

Yeah it's ridiculous that we have to break into our headlights to change a bulb.

My local dealer is Belfast Audi I just think they will tell me to F off if I start complaining, saying it's my choice to rip my lights apart.

So you got the covers for free ? Do I need 4 of them?

Yes four covers required mate, think they're around £7.50 each+vat, that's why I haggled/complained. Lets face it, Audi is one of the worlds leading car makers, and you have to hack at headlight to change a bulb, its not a good advert.

Tell your dealer you have a fault or that a bulb has blown and you want to update to led, spin him a yarn, he can only say no, or try a few different dealers.

Ok what is the best watt to get in these cree P13w bulbs? Ive seen 5/7.5/11/16/20/29/30/50w

I want something bright enough to be seen as DRL but not blinding other drivers

If you contact T8ups he'll sort you out with the best ones for you motor mate, I can't remember which ones he sent me, but they're bright enough to know they're DRL's without dazzling other road users.
