Hi guys, just looking for some opinions at the moment. I have an A3 sportback in monsoon grey with the 5 spoke wheels I think that's what's they're called. I'll attach a picture.

But now I'm looking for a change of colour so I wanted to dip my wheels, what colours do you think will go well with a monsoon grey car? I was thinking anthracite grey or black maybe? But I was wondering whether anthracite grey would look weird with a grey car.
So what are you opinions guys?

Thanks

I think black might look better with a grey car. Without any contrast it looks too plain?

Oh wow. Thanks for the photoshop!!
I'm beginning to think the black don't look to bad..

I'd agree. Black looks better but in a nice gloss finish.

Personally I prefer the standard colour. I think the other two look a little less classy due to the width of each spoke.

Nice car though btw

Hmm trying to see whether I prefer black or the original colour. If I were to be doing it, it would he after exams so I've still got like a month and a half to device. Plus I can always pull it off if I don't like it! That's the beauty of dipping I guess.
I get what you mean by the spoke being really wide, I didn't have a choice when I got the car as I got it approved used plus my budget was pretty low.

And thanks :)

Oh, I'm not saying that the alloys are crap. Personally I quite like them. I just think with that style of wheel it would look better in the standard colour.

However, if I had to change the colour, I would probably go for the 1st option, but possibly slightly darker as it would set off the lighter grey paint job.

Yeah I understand, I didn't mean to give the impression that you said that. I see what you mean about keeping them standard though.

Part of me wants to do it for the protection of the wheels too, I'll hopefully be at uni in September and traveling on the motorway to go home ever few weeks would no doubt cause some damage to the wheels/bodywork. Thinking about a getting a clear bra applied too.
