Today we seen some lovely weather, enough so to tempt me outside and get around to fitting my coilovers!

I didn't get any pics during as basically I just wanted it to be over!

looks good, but slightly to low I think... haha
will leave it for a couple days to let it settle down, but rather unhappy that the back didn't really go any lower.

sadly this is also the outcome...

im now unable to use my driveway.

Looks great pal, maybe raise the front a wee bit to match the back, will still look great and might give you just enough clearance for the driveway

Yeah, nice weather, where as it sucks today lol.

You could always remove the adjusters in the rear to gain more lows
tried it mate and didn't make any difference, same with mates old Passat we did.

yea front defo needs raised! just beached myself on a speedbump before, I nearly cried... I jumped out to check no parts were missing haha.
im not to bothered about driveway to be fair, can park outside house, just not very practical when driving :(

if you just installed them coilies you should set them to max height for a few days/let say for a week ,let them to settle and then adjust to desired height.. just a friendly advice
are those wheels 18's or 19's ??

Couple more pics..

Yea mate, we usually would. But in all honesty it was laziness.
We had to wind them down low so we could get the springs and top mounts onto them, and had to keep them low to wiggle them into space. wound them back up afterwards but as it was such a long way to go. we got to a decent height to be able to drive.

They are 18s mate.

I went for the very basic option of Jom. Iv had them before and been very happy in the past, so why change now :)

Bargain price too!

Yea why not lol, front looks good, I've just bought them same wheels you have on so when I get them on I think I might wind the front down abit more like yours, as for the back, hopefully they will settle in and drop abit more, then it will look super wide at the back :)

I'm running APs and they sit just abit lower than your at the back with the adjuster plates in

Anyway she is looking very nice bud, keep up the good work

get some pics up when done!

iv had to wind front up around 15mm as bumps trapped me at home!

Lol I have to drive down the middle of the road when I get to bumps other wise I beach it lol my wheels came today but need to save for some tyres now so might be a few weeks before they're on but will put up a thread when they're on

Yeah I think it was a good move winding the fronts up a bit, they do look very low. I think with suspension one of the main things is matching the front to the back visually. This is so important IMO.

You are right!
it didn't look to bad on the grass but on tarmac it was crazy how low fron t was compared to back.
I like the stance lower on front but not to much, just need it practical though!
