Hi.
I have some Eibach Sportlines on my A3 with some 19" rotors.

On my drivers side, the rear arch sits just over the tyre.
On the passenger side, there is a visible gap between the arch and tyre, maybe 20mm.

Not sure which side is the correct height but something isn't right.
Do you think one of the springs is not seated correctly?

Chris

I have the exact same problem.

H&R springs on bilstein b8 dampers. Also recently fitted an H&R anti roll bar which I think could be the culprit!

I haven't fitted an anti roll bar so I'm a bit puzzled at the moment. :-(

It may have been the same before the ARB was fitted but I can't say I noticed!

I'll hopefully get a good look on Tuesday so might be able to offer more help then!

Sorry for thread hijack Djwoody..

Whats your opinion on the H&R springs on bilstein b8 dampers combo?

The spring/damper combo alone I can't really comment on specifically, as I had the rear ARB upgraded at the same time so all experiences of the dampers include the ARB also.

The ride quality is reduced obviously, but not so much the car is uncomfortable. Several of my mates are using coilovers on daily cars and in most journeys it gets very tiring very quickly! Which is the reason I chose springs and dampers over coilovers, as I do quite a few miles.

The handling is much better! It feels solid in corners and doesn't skip over bumps as much as friends cars with coilovers.

The 'turn-in' is much better also, but I have bought a white line anti lift kit and front ARB to improve the front end a bit, as the 2.0 tdi is much heavier up front than other cars I've owned and is noticeable to me when driving!

Overall I would definitely recommend it, I spoke with Damian at DPM and he assured me the b8's were one of the best dampers on the market in the price range I was looking at and I have not been disappointed at all!

My car sits higher one side then the other at the rear on AP coilovers. One adjuster is 10mm different to the other. I have no idea what causes this to be out.
