Haha yeah won't work very well with your country lanes, mostly motorway miles for me so no worries there, never liked using em anyway, think it makes ya car look more dirty lol

Also whilst trying to find an annoying rattle the boot I found this under the plastic tray surrounding the spare wheel
I was going to ask if anyone knew what it was but it's pretty self explanatory. What I don't know is, is the meant to be 2 of these?

Had a few things arrive on the post today,bring on the weekend;
Pair if 85mm slash backs

And gotta get these of to the paint shop;

If your gonna redo the wheels, skip the polished edges, they only corrode away to fk in about 12 minutes.

Do them in a dark grey/anthracite/shadow chrome sort of color rather than black. With black you lose all the detail and they just look like a blob. A dark metallic grey keeps the same overall feel, but means you can actually make out the detail on the wheel!

I'd also warn against painting the grille surround. The chrome is very hard, and is very difficult to get paint to adhere to well. The result is that it chips off easily and in 6 months the grille looks horrible. Either buy a factory black one, or vinyl wrap the surround.

I agree with vinyl wrapping the surround. I got chrome bits on my old car painted and they start chipping fairly quickly with being on the front of the car with stones etc getting chucked up off the road.

Looking good! I agree about not polishing the rims, mine lasted six months before the lacquer started to turn white from a stone chip. Did u drill and fit the sensors m8? Just wondering how hard it is to do.

Nice1 aragorn, goin have the outer edges brush chrome and the insides,the centers are goin be tge same as me car with more metallic in,give em tha bit of sparkle.

Grills have been dropped of today,me sprayer did say he was goin give it plenty of coates. But we will see.
I an keeping the chrome on the grills though as I am trying not to go to dark,also do like a bit of bling.

Cheers bud,no got me sprayer todo them,i would of been quite happy todo it though, as they are marked on the side, so ya can't go wrong really.

Tailpipes are the perfect size for the cutouts mate they loo good.

Which head unit is that then?

yeh loving the pipes, perfect fit !!

Its the concert form an 2007 B7, sounds unreal compared to the original Hu!!

Is it a 6 disc unit rather than the single too, I might have a look into one. I've heard a few people complain about the stereo in these, but mine sounds good?

I take it you need a double din cage to fit it too?

Oh yes,and it's about a 2hr job,plus you need to trim ya climate.
No its a single CD mp3, i dont think you can put more than 1 in.
The sound quality is so much better than the single din,really picks out every bit of the tune.

Concert 2+ unit is single CD MP3 player.
Symphony 2+ unit has the integral 6-CD changer MP3 player.
