Make sure he fits the scuttle panel back properly and doesnt damage it, as pollen filter area can get wet and cause condensation or water to get into the car.

cheers for the advice , he's just turned up i will report back later when the job done:racer:

Good stuff, oh and make sure he seals it properly.

When I had mine done, it wasnt, so if i was driving at speed on the motorway, you could hear a very feint whistle.

job complete in just under 30 mins no damage to the paintwork and refitted the scuttle panel, have to wait hour till i can drive it. and cant wash it for three days.....i'll be listening for a whistle when drive at a good speed to make sure he's sealed it right

30 minutes seems quick to me. See here.

Did he remove the wipers, and wiper cowl?

if the screen has a rain sensor, did he add a new gel pad/coating? Windscreen Rain (and Light) Sensors: Audi | Glasstec Paul

Did he decontaminate the new glass before prepping it?

What did he cut back the old adhesive with?

Did you get the opportunity to inspect the paintwork after he'd cut back?

Sorry for coming into this thread late, but I've only just seen it.
