After almost 5 years of ownership I said goodbye to my noggy blue s3. It was a very sad day for me and it will be a hard car to top! I hope the new owner finds this forum and will love it as much as I did!

A big big thankyou to this forum for all its advice over the years and I'll keep an eye on your progress with your cars! Was great to meet a few of you at events and I will truly miss the friendly advice!

i am no longer an audi owner :( but couldn't move too far away from the vag group :)

all the best!

Dan

Hey Dan, take it easy mate, I'm pretty sure any knowledge you have accumulated on here can be useful for the future, so hang about or pop in to say hi if you have a spare 5 minutes!

So let us in on what you have replaced her with?

Edition 30 golf :) couldn't stay away from the K04 although I must admit i miss the quattro already! no idea how people remap them over 300bhp and get any sort of traction!

Ed30 is an awesome car. Mapped they are very fast indeed. What tyres are you using? My mates has full use of 3rd gear and most of 2nd. Get the geomerltry looked at as running true will help.

Ed 30 is another cracking car. Looked at them myself but as you say the lack of 4wd put me off. But a very special car all the same. Stick around the forums though mate!

DSG gear box and only 15k on the clock :) its looking pretty tidy although I have just sent it in for a cam belt and dsg oil change. its running continental tyres at the moment, however think it may need new ones soon so maybe why 1st gear seems useless!

Mate that car is beautiful. Great upgrade. A good mate of mine has one and its lovely in everyway. Lowered on h&r springs only and has the 345mm brakes off an r32. Both good upgrades he says.

Have black wheels jas? Dont worry not gonna change I like the colour they are now! Out of interest have you lowered yours? Did you change the shocks or just the springs?

Brakes from an RS3, and a map from the badger! It'll be more than lovely!!! :)

Whats that like for the ride? pretty similar to standard? with the s3 is wasn't reccomended here cos it made it so crap! i'm guessing it must be different for the mk5's

and very nice looking car :) maybe i will go with black wheels :p

So I've spent too much money on it already... just fitted H&R lowering springs 4 new tyres full service and now need the alignment done!

You guys were right the tyres made such a difference pulls much better now :)
