STOLEN RS4

And that's an expensive one, you can get them for a lot cheaper than that off sites like DX. I had a cellular jammer from there and it could be modified to increase it's power even further.

yes the problem being
there are 3 distinct ways of vehicle tracking

the american system which uses radio frequency and is very very accurate but unfortunately can be got around by a radio frequency device like this
its name is lowjack and works on a frequency of around 179mhz which is close to the old channel 8 tv station
the British system however uses gps through a digital telephone network which fortunately doesn't use radio frequency and is very very hard to get round
so while your device will work and could stop a car being tracked in america its not much use over here in good old blighty
there is a device on the same manufacturers page which possibly could stop the tracker as it has the correct specification but it is considerably more expensive however and is not mobile

there is also a system available which combines both and is very accurate anywhere in the world

GPS jammers are just as easy to buy online - and work well. A few years ago I was working for a company that made asset tracking devices for various branches of the UK government and we got permission to test an online purchased GPS jammer - it stopped all the GPS devices we had setup within a 5 mile radius getting a fix. Not surprising really when you consider how weak the GPS signal is, -120dBm being fairly typical, and the lack of decent spoofing countermeasures in most commercial GPS receivers.

I'm also intrigued when you say "through a digital telephone network which fortunately doesn't use radio frequency" as ALL the digital mobile networks use RF (be it GSM, CDMA, WCDMA or LTE).

still no trace of it since :-(
had a couple of reasonably decent cars since (Cayman S and 335i Cab) but both not a patch on the RS4!!! still havent found one with this spec and colour for the price i paid!
