Hi Guys

After travelling the length of the country looking for a high spec Audi S3 that had to be Sprint blue I finally found the right car and it was only local too in my local Audi dealership LOL!! After travelling over 1200 miles with no joy this one came in and I had to have it!

I had to wait just over a week why Audi done there checks and serviced it etc

I finally collected the car from Audi last week and have not had a chance to do anything or Detail it because of the great english weather :wall:

Well the sun finally appeared so thought I best get up and do a bit on the S3! The car is going to have the full Zaino treatment and I'm really happy with with just 1 layer of Z2 pro and I Iron x the alloys!! Why I wait for some time to do a full detail

Right the S3 is not to my Standard as yet and theres a few bits I really want to do i.e. Full correction, inc treating all the Leather etc but just couldn't wait to share some pics of the progress lol!!!

Have had a big delivery from Elite Car care ready for a full Detail in and out! So loads more updates to come

What a beauty Paul!! Credit to you!!

Do you miss it much mate?

Little bit.
I pampered it more than any other car I have had and kept it longer than any other car I owned before or since so must have liked it.
(Sprint is so the right colour for an S3 IMO.)

Some `progressive modding` helps keep the interest going to.
I added REVO Stage 1, then RNSE, then some BBS CH, then some 25mm H&Rs.
Ive had another S3 since but I guess the novelty had faded a bit by then even though that had Stage 1 and a MIlltek TBE.

Main thing I regret is not fitting a TBE to the Sprint blue one. Makes such a difference.

Brilliant clean example you have. Blue does come up so well after a good clean. I am waiting for a mild dry Saturday so I can detail my yellow S3.

Awesome car and awesome colour. I was lucky to buying mine. Found it straight away and travelled 20 miles

love the sprint blue especially when its nice and clean! black optics grill looks the part too! nice find

Lovely car and best colour IMO. Black grill works well with the paint.

Good bit of beading as well there

Cheers Dan, Fingers crossed the weekend is dry for us both lol!

Hi Paul

Sounds a perfect car! It's always a good thing if you find yourself keeping a car as it must be good and be enjoying etc

I have thought about getting it remapped but worry about the Audi warranty side of things and to be honest it's plenty fast enough for me. But will deffo look into a Milltek and would also love a set of genuine BBS CH'S

Sorry can I ask what a TBE is please ?

Cheers

TBE stands for turbo back exhaust. Really does improve things on the S3.
I also have a 2010 sprint blue that I love, I think it's a great colour. I fully machined and corrected mine last year and in the sun it really pops. Considering a black grill myself and you have just convinced me it looks great with sprint blue.
How many miles has yours done as it looks extremely clean?

Well correction is well under way so thought I would add some pics through out the progress so far :buffer:

Snow foamed then washed with the normal 2 bucket method Clayed with Zaino Z-18 and Porter Cable and 3M polishes ready just started to get polishing then the heavens opened up :wall: Deffo going to buy a carport for the drive or at least a gazebo

Did not got many pics for above reasons but heres all I got! Lets cross fingers and toes for a dry spell. Got to love the english weather

Cheers

Man I love sprint blue. Can't wait to get mine cleaned up! Looking sorry for itself at the minute.

All the Leather has been treated using Zaino Z9 + Z10 Leather in a bottle amazing stuff smells out of this world! 100% recommended and leaves the natural OE look.

As it has the light silver in the leather it was sealed with the new ValetPro leather sealant to stop the the die transfer from jeans etc

Really happy with the results.
