Any chance he could source some more? :D

You can always ask him.

Actually, it was a typo on my part. Craig has sourced some OEM S4 blades for himself, and is painting and then sending me his OEM S-Line blades.

Ah you got my hopes up! I didn't realise the S-Line and SE and different door blades? Can't believe I didn't know that lol
Craig, how about it, got any more S4 blades up your sleeves? :)

Got some more S Lines mate, but unfortunately no S4's but I always keep my eyes peeled for both, so in the bot so distant future I may contact you. Can also supply them painted if needs be :)

not the cheapest mod but does make a nice difference depending on what you got. I have to sort of drivers door blade as sits out a bit, two screws hold it so **** easy to remove and install unlike other mods.

S line or s4 is the nicest as flat just looks boring.

I've already got S-Lines but wouldn't mind some S4 ones. Could you drop me a PM with an approx price please, painted Phantom Black?

haha if there's any defects in the paint job, I take absolutely no responsibility!

New oem S4 blades are a fortune mate, even second hand your looking at £180 ish just for the blades. Leave it with me, I'll see what I can do :)

How are these fitted, does it involve drilling holes ? I have searched on eBay but the same ones in Poland keep coming up. i could see a uk seller shifting quite a few of these ;)

No drilling necessary. OEM blades (all styles) have a series of lugs that corresponds with a slot on the outside of the lower door. You engage the lugs in the slots, slide into place, and then secure the blade with two screws - one at each end - from the inside of the lower door. The Polish copies I have seen on eBay appear to have the holes for the scecuring screws in them, but not the locating lugs. So I'm guessing the are simply screwed into place.

Yeh, I've had a read up on them on the US forums, they're about $400 dollars over there! I'll leave it in your capable hands!

Would this be the same for an SE ?

Just watch out for cheap fiber glass replica's as they are cheap for a reason. You will find they don't sit flush with the door bottom and don't have any slots for the locating pins on the rear of the blade.

Actually, just thinking about the description I gave of the fitment in my post a few up, I think actually the lugs are on the doors and the slots are on the blades.

Yeah that's right, the lugs are on the blades

Try again, the lugs are on the doors, slots on the blades as you said lol

Here ya go Jeff, 4 S Line door blades in your specified colour as promised. I'll give them a flat and polish tomorrow (not that they need it but just to be sure) then let them harden off before packaging them up ready for postage on Saturday. Just wana make sure they don't have any marks on them due to the lacquer being a little soft. Hope your happy and please feel free to give me a shout in the future. :)
For anyone reading this, please feel free to msg me if you require paint. Also feel free to see my paint work and detailing work on my own car and my dads on my many threads :) detailing/painting/wheel refurbs/specialist paint or general repairs (Audi approved) :)

They look great, Craig. Really looking forward to getting them on the car.

To any one else out there thinking of contacting Craig about a paint job, I say go for it. He's done me proud. I won't disclose the price I'm paying, because these matters must always remain confidential between the parties. All I need say is that Craig has done me a thoroughly fair deal, the terms of which I am very happy with.

Now, about those Eibachs?! :lmfao:

I'm still hopeful one day of picking up am OEM SE boot spoiler for sensible money. I found the part number by chance in a B7 accessory cataloge pdf (it's 8EC 071 640 9AX), googled it, and found I'd just missed one on eBay. It had sold for £31. This is the item.

That's a good price! Will look spot on. Must say it's a dam nice colour :)

It would have been if I'd been the one who got it.

Lol! No I meant the car, I.e your colour. Didn't realise how much I liked the colour until I was spraying it. Nice amount of pearl in it

Cheers, bud. It's my fourth A4, and the first one that wasn't silver metallic, so it took me a while to get used to it. These days, I love it.
