The black C6 is my Wife's (just bought off in-laws to replace that stupid Fiat 500.) It's a 2.0TDi SLine (140bhp) with Multitronic, Bose, leather, satnav. It's done 110k and has been in the family since new and has been relatively trouble free apart from the rear wash wipe ******* water all over the electronics in the boot just after it's 5th birthday (I helped the father in law get Audi to pay up for replacing the Bose amp.) Unfortunately, it's just had to have a new intake air throttle. (I replaced the EGR valve while I was on.)

The silver C5 is mine. I've had it 2years now (replaced a mk1 golf GTi as my everyday driver!) It's done 160k and has never missed a beat for me (since 130k.) The guy I bought it off - friend of the in-laws - never had anything go wrong in 6 years either! They don't make them like this anymore! It's a 1.9Tdi Sport (130bhp) with cloth interior. It goes like stink, reliably gives over 50mpg on my 20mile mixed roads drive to work everyday and is supremely comfortable and smooth. Part of me wants to sell it to get something smaller, nippy and more fun to drive, but I just think I'd regret letting this go!

The in-laws have just got a brand new A6 C7 2.7TDi Multitronic S-Line in aviator blue. (See a patern here?) It's very fast and smooth. Better handling than the C6 and bizarrely more economical despite the bigger engine. I think the interior and exterior looks are better on the C6 though. Neither of them feel as solid and dependable as the old C5 though!

Tried to put the new wheels on this today after finally getting the tyres.

Shame I didnt check the centre bore - it seems B8's got a 66.6mm centre bore, so I've ordered some spigot rings.

In the meanwhile heres how I'm hoping it'll look:

Never using mytyres.co.uk ever again!

This is my lovely new to me, A6 3.0Tdi Le Mans. I've just given her a quick wash and fitted the model badges to the rear. As happy as I am with the car, it's booked in for an engine remap tomorrow, which should see about 315bhp and 650nm of torque from her. A vast improvement! Then, who knows? Any suggestions? I particularly want ipod connection on my MOST 3G MMI system, but really don't want to spend the £435 that my local dealership have quoted for AMI. If you can help, I'd be delighted! Cheers.

My new Avant....

Very few plans for it at the moment, de-badge, set of Eibach springs, some new wheels and a remap in the future once I get used to the extra power. Possibly black out the chrome and tints from B-pillar back. We'll see

Just been for a hook about and I can confirm that 313bhp remaps are the dogs ********! Worth every penny and then some! Haha

Where did you get it done? Do you have auto or manual?
Hi Too Many,

I had it done locally in Carlisle by an old friend and very good mechanic called Justin at City Garage. They've always been entrusted with all of my cars! Mine is a manual. I figured it would be better for mapping, and the Wife wasn't keen on a tiptronic.

You fancy having yours done?

If you want it done, let me know and I can get it done for you at trade cost by the way.

New member. Thought I would share a few pics of my 2006 A6 3.0 TDI s line Quattro. Just recently got the engine ECU remapped to 275bhp and upgraded the lights. Next step is to get the rear windows tinted.
