I loved reading through this, I have a 54 Grey A3 too, I know you have answered this alot, but I cant decide on JOM's or just get some lowering springs? Im only on 17's and I dont want to go as low as you, just 'fill' the arch a bit better, how 'harsh' is it gonna be compared to standard?

I too really love Tims A3 and as I own a dolphin grey 04 sport myself I actually went down the route with 50mm H&R's plus RS6 18" OEM alloys. No problem at all with even full load in car, no wheel gaps at all but at the same time no rubbing issues either.
Personally did want to go with JOM's but just ended up with springs as I didn't want the risk of budget coils snapping on me lol.
I went over to bmw but im back, I found the bmw wasn't as fun to drive as an a3.

I thought the JOMs were good value. My only issue is they didn't go low enough!
Car went without the wheels today. So wheels are actually for sale, see classifieds. £695 ono

Just trying to get rid of my wheels that are on the car at the moment, as they need to be sold before I buy these. With a bit of luck they'll sell before you sell yours.
