What do you hate???

Getting 2 nails in 2 separate tyres in the past 3 days cemented in the fact I couldn't go to inters with this lovely weather :(

Neighbors that cant keep there nose out of you're business

also folk that come over and state the obvious.. IE.. when im working on my car or the garden and they walk up and say "ohh you're busy" no **** Sherlock... also the other thing that really gets on my goat is when you're doing something and you get someone trying to tell you what to do when its plainly obvious they don't have a scoobie..

It really boils my **** though when you get folk that will ask you to do a job on there car then hang over the top of you and try to explain how to do it... if you knew what to do why have you asked me to do it...

- The Mazda 6 driver I followed to work yesterday. Tailgating the car in front on country roads which meant he had to brake every couple of seconds, cutting corners so close he was actually mounting the grass verge. When the car he was tailgating had enough and sped off, he still managed to brake for every little dint in the road. When he looked like he was going into the trees I gave him a little toot and he decided I was out of order, slammed on his brakes and jumped out of the car ranting and raving at me as if it was my fault he was the worlds most erratic driver. I remained very calm but after something like the 5th c-word, I calmly removed my glasses and went to open the door, at which point he told me he was going to call the police because of my threatening behaviour and ran off back to his car! Then, after I thought enough is enough and pulled round him, he decided that he would follow me shouting and screaming and making weird hand gestures.

- People that cut across 3 lanes on a roundabout, from the outside to the inside lane where I'm sat forcing me into the hatched off area to make sure they didn't crash into the side of me (luckily it wasn't the kerb). Yes, they got a toot! Then, when they pull in behind me at a garage just off the roundabout, the wife has a go at me off for not looking where I'm going. I said, 'excuse me?!?! You didn't see your husband cut across 3 lanes of traffic and almost into the side of me? Not the front, not the back but the side of me, and, if I hadn't been watching what was going on, you wouldn't be sat in the garage now, you'd be wondering how much your insurance excess is.'

At which point, a lady who was behind us on the roundabout and filling up at the pump next to me, piped up and told her exactly what she thought of her husband and his driving. (Glad it wasn't her in the other car, she was pretty damn scary!)

- People that don't indicate. Is it really that hard to press down a little stick with one finger? Also, isn't it strange when you do bother to indicate that less people pull out on you or cut you up.

The theiving pikey b******s who added 2 and a half hours onto my night shift when they got onto the railway network, and chopped data, power, fibre optic and other essential cables which myself and my team leader then had to go identify, give statements to BTP and then prep and work out how much cable was needed, measure out and get same and then pass on to the dayshift.
Not to mention the massive amount of delays this caused for the travelling public and freight companies due to the line being closed so repairs could be carried out.
And to top it all it basically happened 10 minutes from my home but I had to travel back to base first and then home...
650v power cable and no injuries that we know of-shame :(

Selecting pictures on TapTalk and they open in Safari only to show a low res image! Is there any way for me to get around this? Love when I can view images in the app!

I've just done the same thing when I added an image as well! How do I get them to embed on the website/TapTalk without having to go to the actual link when selecting it?

Currently hating Midlands road maintenance planners. Drove up the M5 to go M6 south last night to find the southbound exit was closed. No problem, drive up to J9 and turn around. Nope, southbound closed too. Back round the island and onto the M6 to J10. Same thing. Had to go through Walsall town and get on at J7.
Why not just close one junction and leave the next one open and swap over the following night?

Im sure there's a scheme there with the government to make you use more fuel...

I once got diverted about 30 mile to get back about a half mile up the road where the diversions started

Working in an office where the air conditioning is set to minus degrees.

I realise it is stunning sunshine outside and very warm - but I am on the verge of putting a jacket on at the moment!

:lmfao: That's not nice for any man to endure....

Although if we was in that situation in my office, then at least the ladies will be more inclined to take even more clothes off :eyebrows:

Don't even get me started on ****** cyclists....one of my pet hates is when they decide to ride along side each other to have a chat and become totally oblivious to the build up of traffic going on behind them

I always say to cyclists, you pay road tax on that? No? Well get the **** off the road then.

I always say to cyclists, you pay road tax on that? No? Well get the **** off the road then.

The correct term is now emissions tax.. I had this argument recently.
If you think about it the green eco cars have free tax
even pre 2001 cars if there were under a certain cc they got cheaper tax so not that im defending cyclists here but as there environmentally friendly they would be free tax!!

but now my arguement would be.. do you pay insurance or have you sat a test??
boys on motorcycles need to sit a CBT before being allowed out on the road with a 50cc moped.. now some **** with a push bike can be just as much of a risk if not more!!
bike trailers theres a boy local to me thinks his is a pick up truck.. he carries wood, sheet metal, washing machines in it.. anything!!
then theres these ones with kids on the rear seats!! there an accident waiting to happen some of them

but now my arguement would be.. do you pay insurance or have you sat a test??

This is what worries me and one of the main reasons why I stay well clear of them.

I expect you would have to take them to a small claims court if they were to inflict damage on your car which would be so long winded! (not saying going through the insurance isn't...but would still be a major PITA)

This is what worries me and one of the main reasons why I stay well clear of them.

the thing that makes it worse there's these nutters trying to make it that if you're involved in an accident with a cyclist you're automatically to blame!!!
this will just open the flood gates to nutters going right in front of you on there bikes for easy cash!!

the a**eholes on bikes is really a pet hate of mine..
I dont mind proper cyclists who stick to the rules and do it safely but then theres the others!!!

about 6 or 7 years ago I was driving along a dark road at night and I had a w*nk stain come out of a road end on a bike dressed in dark clothes nothing reflective and no lights on!!
when he come out he came right out onto the middle of the road and straight in front of me.
I seen him at the last second but swerved and thankfully I missed him. now I had just finished a 14 hour shift it was wet and late so needless to say I lost the car and ended out in a field upside down..
the boy on the bike kept on going and never even stopped.

A car came the other direction and saw the aftermath and also said that he had seen the boy on the bike about a mile down the road and thought hes going to cause an accident then he came across me lying upside down.

now If I had hit him and just kept on going I would have got the jail.. but when the police turned up to the scene all they were interested in was what speed was I doing and if I was driving to fast for the road conditions extra.. when I explained that I was doing 60 and yes I knew it was wet but it was a straight road and I had my lights on unlike the boy on the bike they still weren't interested. even the other driver tried to explain that he had also nearly hit the boy as he was in the middle of the road with no lights on they still werent interested!!

2 days later I had the police at my door asking me if I got a look at the boy and could I describe him or the bike, did I know where he went extra
I thought ohh there doing something about it.. no they were following up another complaint as the boy had been out thieving but they then clicked that this was the boy that put me off the road.. so it took them to get a complaint about a theft for them to think that there was something a little wrong with a boy being out at the back of a 11 at night in the rain on a bike with no lights on and wearing dark clothes!!

hypercondriacs , there is nothing wrong with you!
liars, just tell the truth!
brown nosed people!, be credited on your own merits!
shi+ stirrers, mind your own please!

and a combination of all 4 is terrible!

People that have no lane discipline on the motorway... 12 o clock at night no fecker on the roads yet people still drive in the 2nd, 3rd even 4th lane….

Apparently we had thunder & lightning last night... I slept right through it! I woke up about 4.30am to hear the rain lashing on the bedroom window (thank goodness I closed the windows before I went to bed!) but otherwise I missed all the fun :(
