GTI Inters Discussion Thread

Yes! We are the most important element. Doesn't matter if the stand turns out crap, its us being there and having a laugh that matters most.

How big is this show? Just wondering as this will be my first proper VAG show.

Cheers
Its the biggest VAG show and plenty of things to see :)

Definitely. Looking forward to it. Must be near enough a decade since I last went to inters.

None of us will look anything like you imagine.

I think some will.
Coatesy looks exactly like his profile pic lol

Inters is getting closer lads.

Thought it be good to start talking camping and the stand or just talk randomly about inters.

Mods/Admin, what are you guys doing this year at Inters?
We all know last year was a bit of a poor show on ASN powers part but I'm assuming this is not happening again this?
Who's going and is there going to be any flags, the big tent or such?
Sandra, don't bother saying I'll PM Adam. I've already done it!!

Everyone else that's camping.
There was a conversation in the Pub thread about a gazebo. Jason.S has started a little gaybo fund (Its not really gay, coatsey made it that they) for the campers. We each put in about £7, Jason buys, stores and transports the gazebo to inters for us and any future shows he/we attend. If any of the campers wants in on the gazebo, drop Jason.S a PM.

For people who's camping all weekend or just Friday night, we are thinking of meeting up at a local pub and convoying in to the ground together, in the hope of getting all ASNers camping together.
I propose this location Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston Airfield, Campden Rd, Lower Quinton, Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom - Google Maps
Its a pub with parking. so we can stop for a pint or two while we wait for everyone else to turn up and the ground to open. The place opens at 1500 for campers.
How do people feel about leave the pub about 1600 and head over to the ground?

Just in case anyone missed this.
Here it is again.

1.8 Miles and 4 minutes away.
College Arms to Shakespeare County Raceway - Google Maps

Tickets arrived today - I ordered mine before Christmas to get the tight-git discount! Seems like a lifetime ago.

I'm there Sat & Sun, plus have a camping pass. Anyone know if the camping pass is specific to Fri and/or Sat, or if the one pass is eligible for both nights? If so I'll come down on Fri and meet up with you all so we can arrive together.

Is that pub the definite one or were there other options?

Planning on camping the weekend, is there a stand arranged and will my m8 be cool coming in his R32?

Its always been as Westy says per car, website isn't crystal clear just says entry

i got my show and shine thing through post other day, will have a walk over to the audi sport stand tho check the motors out :D

We will have a couple of cars on Revo's stand for the weekend which should be interesting.
We have a really trick 8P S3 customer project car which has all the bells and whistles, and we will be taking this...

Our big turbo KTM X-bow which is powered by the 2.0TFSi engine. It just about counts as VAG :)

Both should be doing runs up the strip. Make sure you come over to the Revo stand and have a good beak around :)

You should offer charity rides down the strip in this! It will be a bit HIT! Put me down if you do!

Does anyone have spare clubstand passes?

Tried to order my tickets online before the deadline, and the GTI Inters site wouldn't process it, then totally forgot about it, which means I'm paying at the gate, and no clubstand passes through the post. :(

Can't you get them at the gate?
