Just wondering if anyone would be up for a meet in mid may. If the weather is good maybe get a run out to glenshee.

put my name down when you get a date and time organised.... im keen to meet other members on here, even though ill probally be the odd one out being a 20year old immature bu*ger, lol where about in Aberdeen you from, or are you from the shire?

not too far then, I'm in Hatton. you may have seen my car or my previous one going about I was all over in that old thing. Silver mk3 golf P reg black vr6 alloys black bonnet with a crail pig slap bank in the middle, limo tint windows and an exhaust that would awaken the dead? oh yeah rusty as F**k as well. lol

Can't say I have but I might of seen your current car a couple times

there are two in Peterhead right now, mine the 53reg and one with a private plate I think its maybe an Irish plate 3letters then 4numbers.

Ah ok my sister lives in the new houses in Hatton. Will keep an eye out for yours

I'd be up for it, should be free any time after the 6th/7th.

I'm thinking Sunday 26th does that work for you. As I get back on the 10th but go straight to Ireland on the bike for the week on the 12th back on the 19th.

I think it's the 28th I'm due away again, so 26th works for me.

Want be home until the 27th, have a good time if you guys get together. :(
Reg.

Ok so provisionally we will say the 26th at Banchory for a run out to glenshee for pics and food at the spittle. Then a run back how does that sound we did very much the same thing a couple years back.

Turns out I have a housewarming the night before so hopefully won't be too bad for this... :/

If I am I'll text Marty so you lads aren't waiting for me at all. :)

Where about in banchory? I might not be able to attend anymore depends how quickly i get the car into the bodyshop or if i just leave it..

As Dan says we meet at the car park in the centre of banchory where the park is.

Im still up for it.

But i thiink for me its going to be like first day of school. Meeting everyone for the first time and not knowing anone, also i think im going to be the kid that everyone makes fun of because i dont have the nicest looking car and i dont know much about them.

Copy and paste extract from Wikipedia I remember being at devils elbow in the early 80's with my folks in a 1979 Renault 18ts

The A93 road, part of General Wade's military road from Perth to Fort George, runs north through the glen and on into Glen Beag, where it crosses the Cairnwell Pass, at 2200 feet above sea level the highest public road in the UK. The road climbing to the summit is now wide and straight but until the late 1960s included two notorious hair-pin bends with a 1 in 3 (33%) gradient known as the Devil's Elbow. One of the most spectacular roads in Scotland, this was a favourite subject for postcards. It was so steep that at the bottom buses unloaded passengers who had to walk to the top and until it was rebuilt the AA maintained a well in a layby for overheating engines. Locally the pass is still known simply as "the Elbow".

Well if you have a car and want to come along then you're welcome to, as for meeting new people... I wouldn't say I exactly know any of these guys well either. We don't bite though.

No-ones bothered or cares about things like that mate. Its just a chance for everyone to meet and get to know one another. And the Aberdeen crew are a good bunch of lads.
