Oh my god, what a nightmare! No liability insurance means a report to the local trading standards, although that will not help the car owner.

I hate these hand car wash places.

Nice MK 4 wrecked. Hope no one was hurt. Feel sorry for the owner hope the car get repaired.

I'm baffled to why someone would leave there car with a 5 quid hand car wash.

Its not as if they left a micra or some other crappy car lol

The owner is as much at fault IMHO

Sweet zombie jesus!

To the bloke's credit though, he obviously got it out of the way pretty sharpish so they could scratch up the next punter's car without making them wait...

"Don't worry, boss. That will polish out, see *rubs with sleeve*"

Not had a good experience with these places. First one did my estate and it looked like they had cleaned it off with a half brick. 2nd time just before I went on a track day a local place sealed dirt in on the bonnet and kerbed my n/s/f alloy then denied it.

What an absolute nightmare! Feel for you! My sis in law had a similar situation with a hand car wash place, damage wasn't as bad (dust a dented bumper), but no liability insurance, she ended up paying out of her own pocket....on the upside, the dent was nice and clean :notme:
