cheers dude.......
keep that car clean for the 14th please and cross you're fingers for sunshine

Its already struck me you guys seem a little bit more concerned with the cleaning and polishing of our your cars.

I didn't realise ownership of such an elite car involved such demanding attention. Just finished ordering the power washer now to find the snow lance, then buckets, mits and shampoo!

Pick my car back up from Audi on 28th March........ Can't wait, aching to get back in it.......

Will work on new playlist for the pick-up, going on a very long drive.......

Just make sure you and 'it' arrive at the meet! NO excuses...

If you are caught driving in public (in daylight)with your car in less than exceptional (one grade down from Concours) condition, the panel has the power to dismiss you from this elite club.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...... this made me laugh:laugh:

And you should come too... BOTH of you... ALL THREE of you, in fact...

If only John..... an impossibility I'm afraid.

looks like it could be the Ibis Club..I'll have to make do with looking at plenty of pics.hopefully.

Got mine washed and polished today... There's a stone chip on the bonnet :crying:.

Ordered an ibis white paint stick from Audi, £7.64...

Mine has a stone chip already as well :(

Who is going to this meet with a black car... how on earth are you going to keep it clean :|

But washing 'it' is the only exercise I now get…

Even a weekend in The Lakes wouldn't get me the exercise that Catnip was going/hoping for, my birthday, or not.

So I wash it! And Bluey always (ish) goes out clean! Ok, I'm retired and have the time...

Oh, and my bonnet and windscreen stone chip arrived with the same brick during the second-week of ownership, and that got me over the 'don't get it damaged' issue.

Poor John...........

Less of the "poor", Vito my friend...

PS: you bring the chips and I'll bring the salt and vinegar...

And THANK YOU again for finding me that link, brilliant! Well done you!

forget the chips........have you seen it on tv? you need a "Bertolli Olive Oil" diet to get that "excercise" machine firing again !!:superman:

Hi Vito......
Car sat in the Audi car compound for 35 days, car not touched, same miles as when I dropped it off.....
No update from Bolton Audi or Audi customer services...... because there is no fix at least not one Audi want to roll out as I suspect the costs outweigh the returns......
looking forward to the 14th....

I write regularly to a friend in Germany, a friend with authoritative AUDI contacts both in Frankfurt and Ingolstadt, and he reports that yes, Audi GmbH are aware of the brake squeal problem/complaints from owners here in the UK, and yes they are looking at the issue, but the unofficial view remains that with the number of RS3 owners complaining, and that's less than fifty here in the UK (check it out guys) then this particular RS3 issue is NOT at the top of their radar.

As for Audi UK, unless you write to Martin Sander direct (I have) then it's doubtful you'll get a response from Audi UK, and if you do then it'll not be from Martin Sander (it wasn't).

You may well get kindly, seemingly generous 'Goodwill' gesture from Audi UK as many RS3 owners have, and I have: track days, Goodwood, subsidised replacement cars even; but the brakes on your RS3 still squeal, don't they? The problem hasn't gone away, has it?

Brake squeal IS NOT a safety critical issue! It IS ONLY an annoyance! YOUR annoyance! Get over it or DO something about it yourselves! Don't wait for Audi GmbH! Even less, don't wait for Audi UK!

You'd best come with Vito, robbiemac, and pick up A-another on the way...

Looks like the meet could consist of 15-owners and 5-cars....
