Yes Guys and Girls, its happening!

I know its way too early to be talking about 2013 shows but i just wanted to let you all know IT IS HAPPENING!

There was (as some of you knew) a teeny weeny element of doubt if I was going to do the show again...well i can confirm I AM!

Due to the size of the show, a new venue had to be found. I wanted to keep the chilled vibe that the show was known for and wanted to keep the family spirit......soooooo...AITP5 will now be at Billing Aquadrome in Northampton. Once again, the venue has fantastic facilities and an amazing variety of camping options/chalets/lodges!
The field(s) I have got are at least 3 times the size of Wicksteed and a lot of the old restrictions have been lifted.

Date is set for August 11th 2013 and i just know you will all show the same love you always have every year.

Much Love, Calvin (Event Manager AITP)

Time to get the list started. :) x

Have to make it for this one. Gonna make a conservative effort as alot of these meets are way too far for us Scottish peeps but given that its next year I have NO excuses. Need to put faces to the multitude of names on here.

Excellent news Cal, I haven't been to Billing for ages, im sure the old edition 38 shows used to be there and some of the old Vauxhall shows too, great upgrade mate, the venue is awesome, defo looking forward to this.

That sounds cool, could be my first AITP event next year.

Whats the new venue like for speed humps? My mate took his S6 to the old venue a few times and always had people moaning because he had to drive so slow over the huge speed humps at wicksteed.

Im not an Audi owner YET :( but i probably will be by then :) so i may pop along

I really enjoyed the last AITP, so was looking forward to next years, but I have a question;

Has anyone sorted Billing's overwhelming addiction to ripping people off? I held the first 2 Mk2 Golf OC's annual meets there, where we charged our members a pretty small amount to camp for the weekend to cover costs as we had stuff to buy & hire (About £8-£10 for 2 nights camping and entrance to the main stuff on the event day), but Billing charged everyone a fortune to camp too (Which they hadn't told us beforehand), so not only were people paying twice, they were paying more than anyone ever has (I expect) to go to a car show type thing.

Even the people coming in for one day were over charged. They also had a rule for example that 2 males couldn't share a tent, so 2 brothers who came had to pay for 2 camping spots just to get in.

Don't get me wrong, its a really nice venue, very spacious and good facilities etc, I just wanna ask as I for one don't wanna pre buy my ticket, then have to pay them again on the way in.

we haven't got a list up and running yet, we will do so nearer the time and you can add your name on, but on the day, when you arrive just ask to be directed to the audi-sport.net stand. All are welcome. :) x

For those who are going down on the Saturday - What are your sleeping arrangements?

Are people camping onsite or is there a local recommended hotel that you guys use to AITP?

Do you all meet up at a local hotel/pub/restraunt for pre-event evening drinks & chat?

I've not yet attended any major Audi events since i bought my S3 last year but would like to do a few shows this year. Tempted for AITP 2013.

Shaun.

Shaun.

It all depends on the groups.
Each group does their own thing.

AITP is in a different location this year, it's all bit different.
I think thew is camping, pods and other arrangements on site.

Keep an eye out in the AITP section for the camping/hotel threads.

Ticket purchased :)

It will be my first major Audi event that I am attending, been off the whole car show thing for a number of years now but i'm excited to be getting back into it in 2013 with AITP.

Definately need to be on the clubstand. Anyone want to give me a free crash course in valeting/detailing my car? :)

Ticket bought.... Top day out last year...can't wait

How long do the tickets take to come Calvin? Planning on booking premier inn savers room for Sunday night

+1 no ticket received as yet and ideally would like to advance book a hotel.

Anyone else stopping in a local hotel/camping on the Saturday night?

I can see this event getting bigger maybe as big as GTI International. This is what needs to happen to make the Audi scene bigger. You need standing quarter sprints and tyre testing.I know Audi's are involved in GTI international but it is more biased towards Volkswagon tuning stands and clubs
