As above in two minds what to do to the S3 first . should I get exhaust and itg intake first then bed them in and go stage 2 or do I just go stage one and wait till I am bored with it lol

I would get the exhaust and intake and then the remap. I have purchased a ITG CAI and luckily the car had a milltek back box with it just getting the pipe from the cat back to the box. The reason why I'm getting them before the remap is because when I get the remap they can tune it better because the intake and exhaust help you get abit more power. My choice and opinion but just thought I'd give you my 2p's worth.

Opinion taken on board . I think I am leaning to exhaust and a intake then a few weeks after running the exhaust and itg going for a map

Just do a remap for now, enjoy the fun & then when bored you have the other bits to add later, otherwise you'll have nothing to look forward too as such.

Yerh suppose and a remap be far cheaper than a milltek and a itg lol thanks for your view

I was going to say with a map and the exhaust then you might notice you may need a clutch because of the extra torque, get the map and the the intake

First of all what is your engine ?
Second of all, it doesn't make any sense to have a remap done before exhaust. You say it's cheaper to do remap, yes it is but at the end of the day you will have to do a remap again after you put in a new exhaust.

I would go for the ability to keep improving the car, you get used to the extra performance and it's nice to be able to do a number of upgrades. My car came with a revo map, I then did some hardware changes over time and finally got the custom remap. Each time the car improved and I enjoyed it for a while before making further enhancements. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference the full Milltek alone made. The air intake seemed to make no difference. Not sure how this translates from a TDI to an S3.

Love the car, even though I've bought another car, I just couldn't sell the A3.

What's your priority? Maximum enhancement now, or getting gradual enhancement over time.

I did Revo stage 1 without any other modifications within a week of buying my S3 as it was too slow by half. Stage 1 is a very noticeable upgrade and fun.

Just had stage 2 and miltek done today but no CAI for me. Makes the car even better @ stage 2. Haven't really pressed on with stage 2 yet as roads are wet.

It all depends on how quickly you want to spend your money at the end of the day.
