You cant buy the oem led parts seperate, so its either all in or not mate & yes its fairly expensive to retrofit, eg. previous 8P was 2k or so for the full install, as required levelling systems & headlight washers.

Isnt going to happen mate & ripping headlights apart to fit these may not have the desired affect you want, just spec xenons or get them fitted, hard pill to swallow I know.
The Xenons aren't cheap to spec in the first place but are worth it, moreso now that you also get the rear LED lights as they make a big difference IMO.
I noticed you can't actually spec just the Xenons on the 8V - they only come as part of a package which also includes the interior light package and light & rain sensors.

Xenons added over £30 to my monthly payments and the S Line nearly £100, would loved to of spec'd them but couldn't justify the increase in monthly payments
Yeah it's not too bad really. Many people say how expensive Xenons are but the components required aren't cheap, just ask anyone who's needed a Xenon headlight bulb replaced - my boss was recently quoted over £300 for one on his A5!
Yeah tbh thats one thing I dont by from audi, you can buy better/same ones for half if not less than that price.
As long as modules fitted supports them, I dont see why we couldnt, you want to step up for the retrofit?
