Wow I want this one! Do you have a part number for that cover?! And is it easy to replace it? Thank you!

Just read through the whole thread. Well done mate. I admire your patience in collecting the parts the go "bam!" and get them fitted in big lots.

The accident was sort of a blessing in disguise as you got a s-line front bumper without requesting it.

Lastly, black car on black rims rocks! Don't you fancy getting the machined part of your alloys temporarily coloured in red RS3 style? I.e., plastidip maybe so you can peel off if you don't like it? Just a suggestion but the car looks great as it is mate.

Keep it up!

Thanks for the comments mate ..:salute:

I wouldn't get anything color coded in red as it's not the theme of my car. My theme is Silver and Black ...

hello mate.. I've have also read through the treads and love the looks of your car :) I am also wanting to do this conversation but with a white and black theme, can please answer the following to help me achieve this.
  1. the garage you done your conversation is he based in London if so can I get the details ( I want to use the same garage to keep things simple)
  2. what was the original year of your car.

1. There based in Luton I would not recommend them at all as they have done a bad job on the paint job of my bonnet and rear spoiler.

2. 2003

cheers for the advise.. can I ask to do the 2010 front end conversation what key elements are there to consider and can any decent garage carry out the work.. josh

OMG how on earth did you get this at that price: Side Mirrors with indicates 2009-2011= £134 for both

As I had all 4 tyres off I thought I might as well give a coat of hammerite black paint for the rears also as they where crazy rusty.

You have to take the old rear frame from the A3 and swap it out with the A5 one. It's not that difficult as I thought it would be.

got any wip pics? ive not got the bench but was considering getting a retrim to adjust to the style

wip pics ? What u mean ? A re-trim would work.

whilst you were swapping the frames, would be good to know what it entails, yeah the retrim will be happening i just like the pattern of the rear bench

Nice work Digzz car looks sick, like yourself ive got a 53 plate A3 though 2.0FSI (jucier) 1 LoL and have bought the 2012 wing mirrors you mentioned that you needed the J door module so i have 2 questions for you 1.) will it be fine to work 2012 mirrors as yours are the 2009 shape 2.) do you know the codes for the j door module as I went to Audi and they could not disclose this information :notme:

1) 2012 mirrors would be fine.
2) Coding them won't be an issue just ask me or put up a new thread.

Wow, you simply wouldn't believe your car is a 53 plate. Looks spot on!

What did the quality of the wheels seem like? Thinking (if I don't end up buying a late model black edition) of getting some reps and was just wondering.

This is coming along nicely! How much roughly were the S5 seats? Quite nice those :)

Just noticed you changed the centre cover on the steering wheel - I bought one ages ago but I have never got round to fitting it! I know it is riveted on, what did you do to get them off? Drill then re-rivet? Any rivet?

Ash replaced them with A3 plugs. Did you have heating in your front A5 seats ?

Yeah i did the same i used A3 plugs but after awhile they must of lost connection from the seats moving forward and back and now i cant seem to get rid of the airbag light.

what type of wire did he use if he rewired them ? edit - no i just had lumber electrics on mine !

thanks !

Ash used : service wires + the plastic plugs of the S3 seat including the airbag plugs.
