Good morning all,

Got some new Bosch Aero wiper blades, went to fit them last night but the wiper arms hasn't got the right clip on it so I can't fit them. Have had a look on eBay and can see there are kits available (Genuine Audi A4 B6/B7 8E 2001-2008 Exeo - Front Aero Wiper Arm & Blade Kit - RHD | eBay), but don't really want to spend this much on wiper arms

Anyone else managed to do this for cheaper or is there another way?

Thank you!

if you have older car you can fit wiper blades to attach to standard arms

or change the arms to fit the oem flat wiper blades

what arms has your car got fitted?

As my post above says, I've tried to fit the aero blades to my standard arms, but they don't fit. The standard arms have like a clip on them which doesn't work with the aero blades.

In my post there is a link to the kit so I can use the Aero blades, but don't want to spend £109.65 on it...

I'm not aware of a way to fit Aero blades to standard wiper arms, (but that's not to say there isn't) - however in here it's always been the case that you need Aero specific arms to fit Aero blades.

ebay - message anyone breaking a B7 or B8 Audi A4 and ask them how much for the wiper arms - direct fit to your B6

I did this last week - got the arms and blades for £25 delivered then I sold the old arms/blades from my B6 on ebay for £40!

yep - you just need to buy a set of Aero arms... the only other tools or "kit" you need might be a £10 wiper arm removal tool, which is a good way of removing the arms without any risk to the wiper motor, paintwork, etc... I did one of mine without the tool, but the other one was pretty badly seized.... I spent about 2hrs with a collection of G-clamps, pliers and monkey wrenches.... eventually gave up and borrow the tool off somebody: a little bit of WD40 and 10mins later, a few turns on that tool and it just popped off!

Will this removal tool be ok? Silverline 702445 Windscreen Wiper Arm Removal Tool 15mm | eBay

If anyone sees any Aero wiper arms on eBay please let me know, I've looked but I can't see anything. Also messaged most people on there breaking A4's but no one has the ones I'm after!
