Aberdeen Meet

Yes well done Ilim......the point I was trying to make is that it needs to be central for all you guys up there.....just because its an Aberdeen meet doesnt necessarily mean its ONLY gonna be Aberdeen locals attending so you have to pinpoint an ideal location for folk travelling.
 
im not familiar with stonehaven / johnshaven i suppose either may have a good meeting point?

who amongst us is a photography nut, would be good to get some better shots that pics off my phone :)
 
well like previously stated ill bring bbq's and some sandwhich steak and rolls

and my satnav and a wheel see if i get any takers ;)

Lets do Stonehaven? Stonehaven has a really nice harbor area, its like Marbella. we could always meet there?

Might be difficult to get parked there if the weather is good on a Saturday it might be busy
 
I'd love to attend this but unfortunately some idiot with a Range Rover Sport decided to reverse in to the front of my beautiful RS4 while it was parked up and minding it's own business... so it will probably be in a bodyshop having a facelift.

Any of you guys heard of Aunti Betties icecream shop, with the IRN BRU icecream,Maltezer icecream etc

True story, and the wee run we had in your RS4 was certainly a highlight...I just love those things. Shame someone's had a bash at it.

To be honest, I'd be more worried about missing a nice BBQ in Banchory than going for a cup of tea in Stonehaven. Either way, not back until the middle of August so will be missing out.

If I miss out on IRN-BRU icecream though I will seriously consider quitting. I suppose I could just go myself later and get some, but that's not the same.

Was there with the Mrs today. Not a particularly sunny day but the queue was out the door...literally. Parking was rammed, not helped by the fact nobody appears remotely interested in parking within the lines of the spaces. No good for a weekend meet IMHO.

I had a two scoop cone, butterscotch and pistachio btw!

Rizza make the irn bru icecream for asda lad, as for the bbq we will just have to call that the next meet and get it orginised
 
I could be keen for this if I'm onshore.

Any thoughts on Aboyne for meet or the car park at the gliding club just outside Aboyne ace venue if it's sunny and BBQ friendly?.

Is the date set yet?
