Upgrading to 312mm brake help

Hi all,

I need to replace the brakes on my B6 130pd soon so thought I may aswel upgrade them to 312mm at the same time.

Problem is I can't find a set of carriers for 312s anywhere Anybody got and for sale or know what motors they were fitted to ?

i have them on my 3.0 v6 quattro, fitted as standard, i also think the 2.5 tdi v6 has them, but i may be wrong !

I always thought it was all quattro models that had them, but recently someone said the 1.9q didn't. The 2.5TDi q does anyway.

so james if i find a 2.5q breaking thats the best way to go ??? callipers disks pads etc.. im very happy with my std now but always somethink to spend money on lol...

do B5 S4 front callipers fit B6 straight fit guys or not

I had a couple of replies on ebay yesterday for s4 b5 front carriers calipers and pads for £70 & £75 p/s & d/s plus £15 p&p, obviously i'd replace the pads anyway, But i'm still searching whether to go 312mm, 320mm or 345mm it's doing my nut right in as i need brakes anyway.

Straight swap and also the B5 RS4 or the B7 2.0T brakes

I've upgraded my 2.5 312's to S4 345's. They fit good.
Then upgraded the A6's 286's to the 312's. They just need the carriers. Calipers fitted fine.

Yeh, get the standard B5 S4 discs. 321mm iirc.
