hi guys as the title states, ive been looking at replacing all my hoses to silicone.. and im left with just the coolant system. i know Tuffty has already got a kit of forge but God knows when it would reach main stream and out of development phase. so i wanted to know what you guys thought about the SFS kit.. although id personally go for forge but oh well.... [ car is an AMK S3 01 plate]

any pointers would be appreciated.. thanks:thumbsup:

anyone ? or they any good or not advisable ?

You buy it and let us know how good it is mate :) !

Test dummy if ya like........... Any silicone upgrade has to be better than standard aslong as it's quality grade silicone.

lol don't like being a test dummy but i did abit of research and found they use 4ply's of silicone or so.. and have 5mm walls and can resist temperatures in the range of -60C to 180C and you can order the one with the high temp point of 220C which has Nomex inside of it. i think i might just get it, seems solid to me and reviews are okay.

i dont know about forge but im sure they are 4-5 ply's...

I've used sfs hoses on my bikes many a time they are top quality can't knock them

I used sfs tip and was of good quality no problems
And prices are good to
I would buy them if I had spare £££s

Doesn't look as full a kit as the Forge one but... I do have 3 hoses left over which I am not sure where they go (maybe heater hoses) and still missing the one to the after run pump...

I have spoken to Forge about this and just waiting on a reply at the moment... when the next TT appears at the unit when I am there I will have a good look over it to see if there are any obvious differences...
