Lol I love how you have blanked out letters on reg plates! From looking on this forum as often as I do , I can name the last three letters on most of them ....... How sad!

Looking good though, put my house up for sale today after seeing that RS3!

No im not doing any shows this year,apart from e38,car needs abit of work,and i was to involved in the vag shows,no i was fishing the river all weekend,need another river carp.

Ah i read your first post wrong thought you said there was many 8l's on the strip...which to be honest was quite a strong 8l presence and on the strip

River carp sounds like fun ive always been confined to pits

Yep, watched it happen,

White Mk1 LCR had a snap off steering wheel that wasn't attached properly and came off fairly close to the beginning of the run, the chap tried to put it back on but the car had turned, came across the other lane through the first barrier, into the second metal barrier and into the crowd... I saw someone upside down with their legs higher than the cars roof... Disturbing to say the least

Wasn't paying attention to the time, but half 2, maybe 20 past...

Air ambulance was there in under 10 mins though, it went through further up from we were standing Westy, I guess around we're you and Stacey walked to, further up from us.

Also I only assume the steering wheel was a snap off jobbie as it was no longer attached to the car...

Just loading and editing on PB and cant believe there was an accident, hope everyone will be ok, it was lucky we left when we did could of been part of it.

i have a few il upload at some point.

for me it was the best show so far, such a great laugh, the ASN boys are all top blokes.
was impressed by the size of the event and place, the atmosphere is great.
and the weather wasnt that bad, my face is pretty burnt, somehow

carnt believe hearing about the strip accident, by the sounds of it if it happened yesterday (saturday) from where i was standing i could have been the one hit as was on that side and not that far from the timing screens along the straight. glad i got my a3 remapped there yesterday by ttworkshop. car is so much quicker, although my 1/4 mile yesterday would say otherwise. lol. was my 1st attempt and really sucked. some really sweet rides from people on this site.....

Yes it is mate, my other one is in a sorry state, I went down the strip but didn't launch, did a 13.2 and a 4.7 to 60

I got 4.8 0-60 and a 13.2 quarter.

I got a 5.64 0-60 and a 13.939 with all the audio in mine. Time for an uprated clutch, manifold and fit WMI and maybe strip out the audio for next year

Really enjoyed the weekend and will definately do it again and have also popped my 1/4 mile cherry lol

Prawn wasn't very successful unfortunately. 6.5ish to 60 then 14.5 quarters due to loads of wheel spin.
