If its factory paint there will be a paint code on a sticker in your spare wheel well, although I haven't seen that colour before? So might not be original. It looks like it could be solar orange (an 8P colour) Nice looking car bud!

hi thanks its the standard its definalty the standard colour as i rember then car when it was brand new i think it is the same as the TT orange. It is lighter than solar orange

yeah it is a uk car... nah i just pushed the mirror in while it was parked outside the house... I live in the Isle of Man we have MN or Man in all our Redg's

It has Dark Grey full leather. the seats are electric adjustable and heated is this standard?

They are ultra rare my friend, only ever seen two previous 8L S3's this colour.

Papaya is an Audi exclusive special order paint and the ones I remember seeing also had the dark grey interior as well. Do you have any pics?

All S3 Recaros are electric adjustable but heated seats were an option.

Nice colour - as others have said, will have been ordered as an Audi Exclusive colour.

Only standard colour like that I was aware of was the launch colour Ochre metallic (second down on the right), but that was only available for 6 months and yours is a facelift so wasn't available from the brochure when yours was built.

its onnvi yellow from a seat lcr, with less white paint added, i hade my lcr painted last year it came out this collour, the person who sprayed added more white paint to it, to get it more yellow, the paint come coded to my lcr but was orange/yellow when tested, so we added more white and it come out perfect, i think ur s3 has bin repainted, and the dint lighten the colour.

I'm pretty sure there's a sticker in the wheel well under the boot carpet, or it's on the spec sticker on the inside cover of the service manual. I have a 2002 brochure for my S3 and the colour is not in there. But you can specify any Audi colour in the range called "Audi Exclusive" and they'll paint your car in it.

How’s this 6 year post got dug up?
The leather, steering wheel and dash, door inserts are all a light grey which was not standard colour hence why the airbag is a different colour

Thats like the old nogaro blue. No good if you want to go under the radar at times. I like the grey with chrome mirrors!

I like solar orange for the 8P, although I'm not a big fan of the 8P. I prefer the 8V and I like Sepang Blue on that one. Obviously the best colour is noggy though ;-)
