The time will soon be here to renew my Brake Pads and possibly discs.
Does anyone have any recommendations for my 58 reg 2.0 TDI 170?

If I could get a decent pad with low brake dust this would be even better, sick of cleaning my wheels every other day with the OEM pads!
I've heard Ferodo are pretty good.

Ferodo are dusty, especially the performacne DS series. EBC Yellowstuff are low dust and good performers.

you should buy Ferodo pads i have used them for cars and bikes .
if you are looking for disc also then buy with groves which clean and keep pads in shape and clean , drilled disc cool quicker as the holeset air through , vented groved and drilled disc with Ferodo pads , nice

What are the Redstuff pads like?

I tried these briefly.

Marginally better initial bite.
That's about it on the good front...

Other than that persistent squealing and noise , fade like the OEM pads and nothing else to recommend them.

All i can say is i've got Apecs and i hate them.
