Part number for TTs Engine Cover for use on S3 with Intake ?

Been speaking to Audi parts to try and order a TTS cover for use with my ITG on the S3.

He has identified 2 part numbers and not sure which one to order despite sending him a pic..

06F103925J - £72

06J103925BF - £41


Any idea which one I need to order for use alongside my ITG ?

Steve Jnr has one of these also mate,he could give you the part number if you dont get it sorted,i think you need longer bobbins aswell

The two part numbers are for two different engine codes. The first number is for the 2.0 litre 147/195/199 kw engines. The second number is for the 1.8/2.0 litre 118/147kw engines.

Both parts are totally different shapes.

I tried ordering bushes for my 8L to replace ones that they had found were worn during the car's MOT/service. Went in to pay and they asked which bushes it was I wanted... not even jokingly. The guy brought up the ETKA drawings for me to point them out and everything - "I don't know, I wasn't the one who said they needed replaced!".

What are you trying to do mate ? What is ITG and what engine code are you trying to get a cover for ?

Post a pic of what you think you need and I'll compare it with the pics in ETKA

For quick reference, part number I used from Audi (which fit obviously) was: 06F 103 925H.
Boydie used this part number too, never seen the BF one before.
Don't forget you also need the 3 mounting points, part numbers in thread.

Spent most of the day hack-sawing my spare S3 cover, and it'll be going 'to paint' tomorrow (going to spray the plate bit grey). Will see how it turns out and maybe get some pics up tomorrow. I recommend a jigsaw or dremel with plastic-cutting blade... I only had hacksaws available (used a taped up blade with no handle for most of it). Had to do it in sections for sanity's sake, and still need to properly file/sand down the cuts to clean it all up.

Also need to check fitment with the rear mounts still on, or whether I need to just chop them off and use the front mounts only. Anyone know?

This has been very useful and parts now ordered and arriving tomorrow - thanks to all who posted

Total cost RRP = £89.76 inc

Managed 7.5% discount at Dealers so £83.95 all in.

Parts finally arrived today, cost £80.58 delivered.

Not fitted yet as I don't have a T20 torque screw fitment to take out the 2 head screws so off to Halfords tomorrow and will probably fit there and then, I'll post some pics up but all looking good for a perfect fit as I trialled t as soon as it arrived.
