Owner of a S4 B5 Avant 2.7 running 352@fly.
As nearly every driver what's more power Im' in that statistic.
Car goes great and have no issues but want more BHP. Waiting for my X1 intake kit to be delivered from 034 Motorsport simply to run abit cooler and the ram factor. What else will I need to reah 450bhp safeley or as safe as possible.
K04 25 26 turbos
CX or PACE FMIC
Do injectors and pumps have to be uprated and also the FPR?
I have little knowledge in the Audi world but am not a novice when biulding fast cars.
Advice more than anything else chaps.

A few pics of my old Corsa turbo that I built from scratch
Pictures by mmmmmmq - Photobucket

KO4's
rs4 intake pipes
Facelift/rs4 manifolds
3" downpipes
Bigger injectors
Fuel pump
Better intercoolers
Oil cooler
better clutch & flywheel
FPR should be fine.

There are so many bits you could fit, but its knowing whats best to fit within reason or you could end up with a scary bill at the end like i did lol

Let me know what you think of the 034 intake, im waiting on a few of these coming and cant wait to see them!

Give me a bell if you need anything as i have alot of parts left over from my rs4 build that could be of use.

Eddie

The stock injectors will only do 380hp. Pump will do a little more, but best changing it if you want 450+. FPR is fine.

You'll need the turbo intake pipes as well as the turbos as they are larger.

You might also need a larger MAF, i'm not sure where the S4 one tops out, but 450hp is certainly pushing it.

Power isn't everything though, my scoobs currently running a safe 360bhp and in the wet it can be a handful, in the dry the only week link in the chain are tyres, so get decent rubber before upping the power, I ran Michelin pilot sports and they were great, Pirelli pzero neros on there at the mo and can't wait to get them off..

Bridgestone potenzas going on next...good luck withthe modding, it takes over your life and bank account lol!

MAF sensor is 85mm which I beleive is the same size as the RS4.
Injectors will be changed
CX intercooler looks the boy
I have RS4 manilfolds (or so I'm told)
Oilcooler?? where is this situated and what is a suitable upgrade.
Thinking of getting a wideband like I had before, inovate seem a user friendly item plus they look good, ran one of these in my Corsa turbo and it saved my engine when the FPR was packing up.
So all in all what would be a ball park figure to upgrade and will also need cash for a remap at MRC.

Pair of K04 turbos from loba - 160737189889

He also selling rs4 intercoolers and piping !!

Mocal oil cooler would be ideal. If you go FMIC then you would locate the oil cooler in one of the spaces vacated by your old SMIC's

A figure is hard to pin down, but i'd think to get 450+ you would be looking at £5k+ easily. But it would be well worth it, my rs4 used to have 470 and that was a quick car, now its got a little more and its a stupidly quick car lol

Seen them today but they're 6 months old and I can get them brand new for cheaper than what he's asking for them, also the IC are too small for me, I'm after a large FMIC but thanks for the heads up.

Yep, i had the pleasure of a quick shot of Eddies car pre animal incarnation, and it was rapid then, what sort of figure do you reckon its pushing now mate???

Thats back when it was running not to great lol

Its running a safe map of 625bhp without water/meth. Just need to put new rods in and i fancy loba cams and new valves etc then its good to run 8k rpm and 700bhp :hubbahubba:

5K is way out my range at the mo, what would be a good BHP to achieve with 3K?

To be honest, if you cant afford it, dont do it untill you can. I dont mean that in a bad way, it would be better to save and collect parts so you can do it once and enjoy it.

If you dont then you could end up costing yourself more money or end up having something you arent 100% happy with.

You can get brand new K04's for less than £1800?? Are you bumming Mr.Borg or Mr.Warner?

I might be breaking my very high spec K04 in the next month (all the toys!). Will post up a price list if I'm going ahead with the strip down.

Keep me in mind BT and I know where your coming from HEKTOR. For all my turbo's and repairs I have used the TURBO CENTRE UK (in Leeds I think) and rang him last night for a price and they're £820 eash fo £1640 for the pair which seems ok to me, haven't shopped round yet but they have always been good to me in the past.

Thats a very cheap price for genuine k04's.

I think they go for around £2200-£2400 retail price.

Yeah the lads at Turbo centre UK are spot on.

Also Andy at the turbo centre uk told me of a hybrid he done to his s4 which was called K03s and basically take the comp and turbine housing off to get machined out then put a new core assembly off a 1.8 t anniversary and jobs done.

They will be refurb units, so not brand new. But provided they offer a decent warranty, you can't argue with that price.
I'd be looking for £1200 for mine. Had a £700+vat refurb last year and I've done about 2500 miles since fitting them in August.

They are new unit mate trust me, I have used this company for years.

Too right mate. The rods are a while away but are a certainty at some point. Just need to get the thing going! Hopefully my new pipes arrive today and i can get them fitted and go for a blast!

Why was it off the road hektor?

I had a problem with one of the intake pipes and the hose that connects to the y-pipe. Loba have since remanufactured the intake pipe for my car and it should be here on monday. Its been a pain not having the car, but loba (simon) has been amazing in dealing with it, i cant ask for anything more than that. Im looking forward to monday more than ever!
