AUDI In The SNOW!!!

I bought the rims when I still had my GTi and only put them on when bored one weekend but glad I kept them on, its the tyres that I was making a point about, the wheels are a convenience and will be used for either winter or track events but having said that I still think one of the best looking wheels out there with the polished face etc.

Each to their own and all that :)

I was never a fan of those wheels on the Golf (I know I'm in a small minority there!) but I think they look pretty good on an S3. Certainly beats running your winter tyres on a set of steel wheels IMHO.

interesting wheel choice they your winters ? good photo tho

Agree, they look cool, better on the Audi than the Golf. I nearly bought some for my A4 a while back.

Here's ones from Nov '09 (thought it was '10, but I missed the snow last year).

I love Red :)

Yep, me too, best colour for the Sportback is red. My first choice when buying but couldn't find a 170 at the time. An S3 Sportback in red looks awesome to me.

Here's my A3 and my little winter toy Suzuki Vitara

Audi was a big fat fail in the snow, I also made a few quid towing and winching some bmw and mercs up hills etc. All good fun. I even helped a fellow A4 driver out, Towed him for some way up a hill to his house, being a fellow Audi driver I refused to take money :)

another one from last night...

whole town was covered with snow, roads were white and it was fun.
but today can't start my car :crying: so it's stuck there :crying:

what happened to the car? damp spark plugs?
that's the only thing that could be.
last year had the same thing funnily at the same place.
-10 for several days and denso IK22 don't go together.

i saw something in halfords the other day, a spray that you put on your spark plugs before it gets too cold to avoid it from getting damp... i dont know how good it is and i dont need it as i have a diesel :p

Another dusting down here in the south made for a very interesting drive home!
