I'm getting annoyed now.
First I had moss which I thought you got when you don't drive it much, I've cleaned that.
Now i'm getting bugs in my car.

I did have an issue with ants bout a year or so a go when we came back from Andorra but they finally died off and I've been bug free for ages.
Now they started coming back.
Last month or two it was flys. Not masses like a pile of cow poo or dead body but the odd one of two would catch the corner of my eye.
Thankfully they have now gone, I suspect they've been caught by the ******* ****** spiders that has now taken up residence in my car.
Cob webs between the dash and the wind screen, they are starting to make their way on to the steering wheel.
I tend to notice them when I'm half way to work, so I don't have time to clean them up, I get to work, forget about them and notice them when I come home where I clean them off.

The interior of my car is not dirty, I don't eat in my car, drink is all ways in resealable containers and try and vacuum it out when I do a full cleaning day which bout 1-2 twice a month depending on weather.
I'm getting really annoyed with it all now and tempted to order one of these

ut paranoid they might damage the car.

Is there and safer or better to stop this bug problem?

I'm sorry Scott but you couldn't make that up!!

Sound like the whole interior needs to be disinfected to kill everything in there. What process do you do to clean the interior? Is it leather or fabric?

I'm thinking Men in Black 1..... Edgar!

Where do you park? In the batcave! I've had my car 6 months and haven't even had a cobweb on the outside.

Leather.
Leather is cleaned and conditioned when the big clean takes place or sooner if I got a spare min or two and bored.
The rest is just auto glym dash cleaner and the carpets are vacuumed.

More like the fkn bug man from Constantine.

I live on a nature reserve. Not that I think that has much to do with it.
Its doing my head in.
When we came back from Andorra I had ants marching over my dash. Took me a week to remove them.

Check for a damp spot in the car mate. under the carpets in the back, and dont forget under the spare wheel in the boot. had a car or two in with a bit of dampness before n interior was soptless but spare wheel well was damp under the spare wheel.
and if you can lift up your back seats, there might be a moldy wrapper under the seat either.
no harm having a look before you go filling your car with those crazy bug bombs !!!

Not sure smoke bombs are the best method, but does sound very annoying. Maybe you should retrofit the plant holder from a vw beetle and buy a Venus flytrap.

The car is dry as a bone in side and is the spare wheel well.

I've had the seats out many times for different bits of wiring, cleaning and ant hunting.
Nothing in there.
I've ran some cables under the carpet and thats dry.
That was about 4 months ago now, so I will check it once the weather is dry enough to go out.

why not put zorst pipe in car and run it for a bit that will kill em off
