Bro, i FANCY Bentley splits lol doesn't mean im gonna get them and second hand tyres are the way forward, I got two conti sportcontact 2 runflats for £40 fitted and balanced with 5mm tread!

Hi,

Recently changed my summer wheels and tyres from the OE 225/40 18 92Y's on an ET54 7.5 inch rim, to 225/35 19 88Y's on an ET48 8.5 inch rim.

Would i encounter problems ( rubbing on either suspension or arches ) if i changed the tyres to 235/35/19's on my new rims ( standard S3 suspension ), as i would like to get a bit nearer to the OE load rating ?

yes it will rub! will catch on the inside arch.
235 is too wide.

Thanks....just a bit nervous about reducing the load rating from 92 to 88 when we load up to go on holiday next year with all the camping gear and the roof box !!!
