Off topic Q but will the LCR injectors be a straight swap to my A3? And would it need a map to drive?

Think injector seats are different? But they are only around £2 each from tps. Pretty sure the map would have to be altered though as it may over fuel.

Ok thanks, i was wondering if it could just be a strait swap as i can get some for cheap, is there any point unless i was going hybrid?

I dont think it would improve much on your current set up. I could be wrong though. Are you planning on doing any turbo work in the future?

Well im toying with the idea of doing a beachbuggy hybrid jobby, but that could take awhile, as id do a rebuild myself, i can get a used ko4 and would have to buy a used k03s and hope the internals from the k04 are ok, i was going to get all the supporting mods like fmic, injectors, i have a decat but not fitted so was going to fit it all and get a stg1 remap till i have a hybrid which would probly be in 6months as im in no rush at the mo, the hybrid is just a little hobby/exsperiment. But i can get the parts off an LCR for cheap so im pritty sure i can do everything i want for less than a grand.

Did you notice any difference after the clean mate?

I was going to but one of the cleaners the last time there was a thread made but putting the injectors into liquid just doesn't seem right (although no ones had any problems).

Yeah it makes a difference if they've never been done before. Smooths the idle and running of the car.

You can't damage these injectors in the bath as their completely sealed. I've done my injectors twice leaving them in on the maximum timing on the bath, and had no issues.

Just pop all 4 in one go? Take it lcr injectors is pointless unless i actualy have a hybrid?

I pop all 4 in and the FPR.

Im running reco stage 2 280bhpish and I'm using standard S3 injectors.

So my little k03s will be fine with standard injectors, fmic, decat, silicone tip and a stage 2 custom?
