Just wondered if Eibach springs were any good, im wanting to lower my 05 2.0 TDI SPORT to s-line height? is this 25 or 30 mm lower?

You'll need eibach pro kit to drop to s-line height. You'll barely notice any difference in height though, there's only a 5-10mm difference.
Eibach are good springs though.

How much lower do you want your Sport to go?

If you want to drop by that amount then you'll need to go for the Sportlines. The springs will cost you about £160-£170 plus fitting and alignment.

I saw one photo of them an d they looked linear but then I found another photo of the kit where they are are progressive.

The eibach website states that they are progressive so I'm hoping for this reason they'll give a better ride than the current S-Line springs I have(which I presume are linear)

I can tell you 100000% that the sportlines are progressive. Once they are on its very easy to feel the progressive nature of them. My car is very soft over small bumps and going slowly over speedbumps, but firm over bigger bumps taken at speed and hard cornering etc.

Thanks for that, I know nothing about suspension set ups but it would make sense that a progressive Eibach 30mm drop would be better over the slow speed bumps than the OEM S Line 25mm drop linear springs

Yeah I agree. Progressive springs give you the best of both world..... soft when needed and firm when needed.
