Well guys, by popular demand, and now that Audi's in the Park is out the way, it's time for me to start a new thread for Audi Driver International.

Now in its 9th year, Audi Driver International has grown to become one of the biggest event which is staged in the UK exclusively for Audi owners and enthusiasts.

Taken from the site:-
The UK's greatest gathering of Audi enthusiasts Track sessions (Audi-only + other VAG), demo laps, parade laps, Audi UK display, Concours d¹Elegance, Trade stands, club displays + Gala dinner and annual awards at Swindon Hilton

General Series Information

Autometrix, publisher of Volkswagen Driver and Audi Driver magazines, organises several successful track days every year, specifically for owners of Volkswagens and Audis - in this case, just Audi owners.

If you own an Audi and would like to experience a day on track, with experts on hand, trade stands (including Milltek Sport) and various events taking place, please visit AutoMetrix Publications website for more information.

More details on their actual site on Audi Driver International 2011

Now the part where I come in is arranging for the clubstand passes to hand out to you guys prior to entering the event, so we can go park in our allocated plot. So after the success of Audis in the Park, I'm expecting a huge presence from As.net this year(we got 60 passes last year!), and there's no actual limited number of passes, but I'd like a rough idea of how many are planning to attend, so I can forward a figure to Autometrix of how many passes I require for ASN.

Hope to see you guys there.

Joe.

Yes, it's one pass per car(has to be an Audi of course), but you have to pay per person at the entrance or buy online for the tickets.

Hi Danny, the pass is free! But you obviously have to pay to get in. It's usually around a tenner per person, at least it was last year, maybe a few quid cheaper if booked online.
Track sessions are like 15 minute sessions, it was £35 per session last year, or you can book out the whole day or just complete morning or afternoon sessions, and available online, but it's not active on the Audi Driver site yet.
You need to get there early for a driver briefing, your driver's licence, followed by an exhaust sound level test before they will allow you onto the track. You need a Helmet also, so either bring your own, or rent one of theirs at additional cost.

Of course you can use the track whilst on the stand! It just allows you to park in the main area with fellow enthusiasts instead of the carpark, you can head to the track easier from the stand. Cars don't need to be concours, they just need to be an Audi!

With regards to traffic out on track, you join a queue, and they let an x amount of cars per each session. There will be other VAG cars out on track, but only Audi's are allowed to park in the main paddock areas.

Sounds great, so if my friend wanted to bring his LCR he could come and use the track too but he would have to park outside?

Ill be there representing the NW massiv ;)

Whos going to be tracking their motor on the day?
I'd like a couple of passenger laps please. :)

Doubt I'll be allowed lol, but I'm up for riding shotgun too. **** it I'll even ride in the boot ;)

I'm sure one of you lot can come in the car with me, just don't fall asleep!

I'm not sure, my Dad (who's S4 it is) might take out a passenger, but I'd have to ask him. My A3 is not quite as exciting, but you should be taking yours out there anyway!

sorry for off topic
Ye its a tuned LCR, about 280bhp

No worries, it's as Drmole says, he can run his car on track, but he has to park in the visitors carpark!

And for those who wants to sit shotgun in a car that's running on track, unless you are already signed up for track sessions, you still need to sign a declaration to agree to being driven round as a passenger at your own risk. I think there's a small fee like a tenner for this?
