yeah i suppose your right grant it is a bit close to aitp so may as well give it a miss we'll have to arrange on for after aitp then

good idea mate i had a lush pint last year at aitp it went down a treat esp in the baking sun too :) would have loved a ice cold beer at inters mind you lol

hi mate we should be having a meet sometime in august as we have got a few car shows to attend before hand but keep an eye on this thread and we will organise one soon

There are so many Mojor show's going on over the next few months, so my weekend's are booked.. Castle Combe this weekend Baby.

yeah we all have a show or two dont we col , one problem with combe tho its gunna be raining tomorrow so now im not 100% sure if i can be bothered as i dont want to spend £10 just to sit in my car all day we'll see what the weather is like in the morning tho if its ok then i'll come if not see you at aitp
 
Combe was sooo wet in the morning,then really hot in the afternoon,the weathers gone nuts,i thought that there was a lack of stands there,track action was good ,my mate mark from caerphilly was having a great laugh on track in his mk 2 golf making mincemeat of nearly everything.Disappointing A/S turnout only 4 cars and 1 turned up late afternoon ,forecast was really bad so i don't blame people.Not sure if i will still have A3 for next meet it may be sold by then,so maybe a a4 avant by then.Cheers Andy

i was going to go to combe but the weather made me think otherwise then it was blazing sunshine as you say in the afternoon i was gutted , i wish i just went now :( but there we go eh british weather
 
You should be hard core by now Fran lol.. The good company from Vagowners helped. After 1ish the weather turned out nice.

you would have thought so wouldnt you as when im not playing around with cars im a adrenalin junky i do caving / mountain biking / mountain climbing / hiking /canyoning etc... so should be used to the wet stuff by now haha epic fail on my behalf i think lmfao

i just cant seem to get into it this year. not the best year again so glad im off to new zealand for the rest of my life in febuary

good stuff fran, this country is not offering anything anymore its just getting worse, i have a golden ticket to go out and work and then make it a permanent move and i will be running 2 rental car business with me and my mrs. once im gone im not coming back so my S4 will be up for sale soon :(
 
Said bye bye to A3 today,you probably will see it at ec cycles in nelson,as my mate bought it, so no car until hopefully sat,going to be travelling around the country a bit,i have lined up a few to look at,still not sure what to have a4 2,0t/s4 v8 avant ,anybody know of any good spec ones with fsh ,especially s4's i hear they can have some big bills,cambelts,clutch/flywheel,starter motors,aux rads etc.Got a very high spec 05 2.0t quattro avant to see and hopefully some s4's.See you all next meet,hopefully i wont be in mrs b's golf.

nope its not mate , my mate is going out there next month he hopes as soon as his house is sold he is out of here he is going to get job easy as he is mocrosoft certified so will get one quickly im going to go out there on a working visa and look into pernament when im there hope i go and stay there the uk sucks *** lol
 
Going to see a car tomorrow ,hopefully if all ok i shall be driving it home to wales,its a nice spec a4 avant 06 2.0t quattro s-line se,looks loverly in garnet red?,so fingers crossed i should have a new car for next meet,how long will i be able to resist modding it ,thats the big question,lol,i feel a revo attack coming already.
 
Bought the garnett red 06 a4 avant 2.0t quattro s-line se yesterday,drove it all the way back from peterbrough with no problems,went to the local supermarket later and it started misfiring ,engine check light came on,fecking coilpack gone.At least it didn't go on the way home ,phoned rac today and they came out ,changed it cost £30 ,back to audi tomorrow to see if they will change other packs foc.Very pleased with car ,excellent spec the only things missing are nav,sunroof and bose,the rest is there i think,it drives very well,lots of grunt from the 2.0 with a better more agressive engine note than a 1.8t,all the servicing is done,i fancy a rs4 rear arb ,some wheel spacers(i already have 1 spare pair),a remap probably revo,panel filter and maybe a uprated type dv ,if it needs it.Cheers Andy

no need for panel filter mate, the stock items are more than capable even after a remap. not sure what DV you have but just stick on the DV from the TT im sure its the 106A at the end but dont quote me, i would go look for you on my S4 but i really cant be bothered lol.

shame about the coil pack, atleast its only £30 huh. get some pics up
