Fran, my car is a 07 plate and Rhys can't code anywhere near as much on mine so you will be limited unfortunately...

yeah i know that matey i will just be happy if he can code those things that i want like the puddle lights and the ch/Lh lights anything else is a bonus

A lot of the stuff depends on what year your car is; I'm lucky in that being a 57 plate it seems to have been fitted with a higher end version of the Central Electrics module meaning I can enable the extended menus in the DIS and enable fogs etc etc

Rhyso, what path did you follow to enable the extended dis? I've looked but can't see one.....Im crap with vcds though.

Module 9 - Central Electronics; go to coding and enable the long coder; scroll across until you see the option. If yours is an 07 or earlier its unlikely you'll be able to do it though

Good to meet you Fran... Enjoyed the cruise up too. sorry didn't see much of you at the show but boy was it hot!! Fire brigade have just finished putting the fire around my neck out lol!!!

The cutouts around the holes are because he wasn't sure which ones I used to secure the number plate to the holder*:laugh:

Fitting takes place in about 8 minutes when I've finished work :laugh:
 
Looks spot on mate... Finishes the grill off a treat! Still got the flies on the front from yesterday then lol!! :)

@ Scott - yeah car is filthy after today's rain so saw little point cleaning the flies off lol

Got some Lamin-x en route for the headlights and then the front end is finished......until I find me a set of xenons :ninja:

thats ok buddy im happy for what you did do :) , yeah it was a good drive up cant wait for nexts years im thinking of defo entering the show and shine got to be done and next year come on the asn stand with us all mate

yeah man it was good to meet you too and yes it was a good cruise up to the show even tho i wished i had a 2.0tfsi but nevermind eh you didnt leave me behind haha

mine is too bloddy rain has ruined my nice clean paint but like yours the front is covered in flies cant be bothered to clean them off yet lol

Got them from Ebay :) CAR PARTS HIGHTECPL LTD items - Get great deals on BMW, WIDE ANGLE ASPHERIC BLIND SPOT items on eBay.co.uk Shops! Look for the Team Heko ones. Fitting is easy but I suspect removal will be a little more tricky as they have sticky pads in a couple of places to ensure they don't budge

Took my mate Kris about 10 minutes to do it! I bought the pre-cut stuff from the US Laminx website. I turned the lights on to heat up the lenses, Kris cleaned the lights, then misted with water and fitted. Went on a treat :)
