poor radio reception

i have a couple of faults with my A4 audi concert (bose) radio, the volume button fault which i know is a common 1, but also it has very poor reception on most radio stations even local 1's which are spot on in other vehicles. is there a known fix for this..thanks

The aerial amp that is above the rear window is known to fail.

Scan the car for faults first to confirm..

hi am havy#ing similar probs with mine ,have checked the breaker sites and quoted 95 quid but have searched ebay and a seller has them for less than a tenner delivered ,the person who had mine before had removed the radio and ******** up the wiring so the guy at my local car music center is doing a bit of research

hi all ,have purchased one and installed it and the difference is amazing can now recive am stations the wife is so pleased that i can now pick up talk sport,fm not perfect but can now pick up all available stations

it stpooed working not sure why anyone have any idea where the aerial lead is run from
