At first I was going to do a normal S3 conversion then I weighed in everything and I said to myself I might as well go all out!!

So I’m finally doing a 2010 Front end conversion after deciding what engine I wanted a couple of months ago I decided to go with the cheaper option 2.0 TDI. My 2.0 FSI was too juicy for petrol.

I’ll be showing a few Upgrades in pictures now and again so keep tuned. I’m getting the conversion done at the same garage that my mate RS got his done.

I'll be also listing every part needed to do this mod and also a rough price of things. Keep Tuned!!

I'm no where near the garage ...lol

Why?

You can take the right side fog trim area of & probably get in there to remove the pump for the washer jets, most will just flow out by itself, leaves a 2 inch or so reservoir, drain rest by suction/siphon etc.

Just a little update guys ....It will be ready next week I hope.....:hubbahubba: I'll be giving parts list very soon......and cost of everything.

My water smells, the car has been standing for a year and it was last topped up with water only not a screen wash mix. I drianed it via holding the stalk for 2min and refilled in with 5lt of cheep screen wash and hot water repeated holding the stalk and filled up with a quality screen wash. Will see what happens.

PS Digzz

Like the work, just in need of a good clean and ready to roll?

Looking good mate, I take it the new lights are the xenon & DRL versions? Did you have xenon originally?

Currently I'm having problems with Rear Fog Light and Reverse Light Appearing on the DIS Dash ....Stating that there is something wrong with the lights....but this might be a coding issue I hope.... As I've just installed the K module from a A module.

I'm going to install the Door Modules next week or so hopefully....having no indicates on the side is really bugging me now. If any body knows how to re-pin your help would be appreciated.

I also got my tints done yesterday also........

Just a little peak of photos i've taken with my iphone 4 ..........My next Mod is alloys ...as some of u might know..I'm looking for REP's in 19"'s..

Better Pictures coming soon............

Looking good bro, but still far from finished though ay :p just kidding!!! Hahaa.....

It's all come together very nicely and was a fun couple months sourcing info and parts to get these conversions done. The front pic you've taken doesn't really show of the facelift lines as well as that of the rear one you posted, plus the front will look a lot meaner once that facelift front lip spoiler is added I think.

Still very jealous every time I see your OEM parking sensors:sob: I think I'll have to do them as my last mod and get rid of my aftermarket ones, lol. OEM just look so clean :icon_thumright:

With the bits you plan on adding this will be one bang tidy 3dr mate. Looking forward to the rims, lows flat bottom and other bits you got planned

BTW, post the fault codes with your fog/ interior lights.... Did you re-check module as we spoke about? Re-check old coding vs new? I forgot what'sapp me bro. I need to have a quick look at my coding as all is well but my rear fog light is still going off with indicator, it's def a coding issue though I remember when I first installed the lights and had a similar issue until correctly coded which actually I will sort out now I have spare few mins....

I just Bought my Rim's 5 mins ago....:rockwoot:... Yeah your right about the front bottom Spoiler lip.....RS ....I just need to find the bolts and the installation booklet ....I need to order them from somewhere..but ain't got a clue where....Them dumb *** people who done my conversion lost the Bolts and screws and booklet. I would never recommend them to nobody !!!

Better Pics coming soon with my new alloys

They took the **** with the time and loosing those screws/ booklet but the job was good at least! Your right though too many set backs and loosing **** just isn't on!! No recs from me either!!

What wheels did you find?

Some Black one's .........even thou I wanted 19's ......I'm settling for 18's.....I need to start saving for the fbsw...:jump:

Lol, 18's will be a wee bit more comfortable as thicker tyre wall and will look good when lowered either way... I would have gone 19's all the same though bro, hahaa :) You lowering before fbsw right?

The lip makes them look a bit smaller, but the drop will make them look a lot better once KW get their asses in gear and send them out from de.

Hopefully I should have them on by this weekend........I'll Upload some pics then.......

How much was the spraying/painting?
Getting quotes at the moment for front/rear bumpers and side skirts and really surprised at how much the costs vary.
