Mine will be at the dealers next Wednesday, well considering it is at Sheerness and Maidstone (dealer) isn't exactly a million miles away that is a hell of a long time to get from A - B.
Anyway should be ready for Saturday 26th as can't pick up during the week due to work.

My theory is that as the A3 is doing so well in other countries, with far better exchange rates than GBP, Audi are shipping there in preference (as production is at full capacity) When do UK sell most cars ?? March and Sept (new plates !!)

Just out of interest, can you turn the L.E.D running lights on and off? I presumed you wouldnt be able to but saw a BE the other day without them on? Mine will be on 24/7!

If you leave the switch on Auto-Lights or DRL (if you don't have Auto lights) poistion they will stay on. To switch them off you need switch to off poistion. I always leave mine Auto-on looks cooler!, but i have seen few people who drive with them off.

Off topic but I've just fitted my S3 pedals, tricky job but only takes 15 minutes max. It looks brilliant and freshens the interior up, if you have a spare £109 do it

Rather you didn't tell me that, even more of a reason to change them though. It changes the interior massively for me! All that's left for the interior is to put in my S3 mats with silver piping now. Leave that until I give the car a full detail though.
Did you have difficulty in pulling the bottom plugs away?
Yeh that part was a bit of a ****** that was the only difficult part really. Managed to get a screw driver underneath and gave it a good tug and it popped out.

Got them off eBay, I found a seller that bought a new S3 but didn't want them, she replaced hers with rubbers so I got them off her for £70

Spoke to my lease company today who have told me I can now expect delivery end of July :-( I orderded end of Nov 2010 & was told mid may 2011, now July!! this sucks! I hope it dont go back any further or might just tell them to keep it and order a bimmer!

Interesting... My ETA delivery has been brought forward by 26 days, although no build slot has been confirmed yet. To be honest, I'm not going to get excited until it is delivered to my house - then I'll believe it.
I was told when I ordered the car that certain suppliers had gone bust, which has given rise to all the delays. Maybe certain options bring their own delays whilst new suppliers tool up. My car is pretty bog standard, just cruise control added.

How can ETA be brought forward 26 days, all I got was a Production week. which following order in July 2010 moved from week 42 to week 44 to week 6 2011 Car arrived at dealer 3 March.
I am at long last collecting my car at 10:00 on Saturday...good times!

Could only get there once the dealers was closed and couldn't find it, also tried their yard where they keep the new cars but heavy security and couldn't see it through the fence but there is 100's of cars in there so clutching at straws really.

Mine is now in the country!!!!!! Should be at the dealers within a week, just got to sort out the delivery with the lease company then.

The delivery dates are bouncing round more than Pammies fake lovebags!!
I so wish my original May delivery date will happen, but I'm not holding my breath. Who knows may even end up with a 61 plate at this rate. Already pushed back to June delivery to Manchester Audi although I'm not supposed to know where it's been ordered by the lease company.

Twin exhausts - single exhausts - It may look better with twin pipes but basically the 170bhp was nearly twice the cost per month. I personally didn't want to spend the same cost as having two 140 bhp A3's just for a twin exhaust and a few extra bhp. Yes it looks better - Yes it goes faster.. But I've got a nice new A3 SB BE with a tidy sum in my pay packet - smiles all round

should be picking up my ibis white a3 black edition in a few weeks now, just want a bit of advice of cleaning want to start getting a few bits and bobs now, what would you guy's recommend do you use different stuff if its white? im totally cluless so any tips advice appreciated
I basically used the same stuff as "Diamond" (his is Ibis White) mines Brilliant Black. If you go back through this thread you will see the list of stuff used.. I'm totally converted to Chemical Guys EZ Glaze with Acrylic Shine II. Build up a good layer of quality wax ontop...
