haha i would do the build thread but im too lazy to copy all the images id have to go through my full photobucket and its over 15 pages when youre running 5 hour a sleep a day its the last thing i want to do!

still not sure on the wheels pretty much 100% set on selling them, going ttrs fronts and s3 fronts on teh back combined with bbs' and spacers in the summer
 
haha i do at the thought of it too but im deffo gonna do it, esp now i know i can run the oem 18s with them (+spacers)

Will be a bit close wont it? I tried TTRSs on the front of mine and just wouldnt go, far too wide and spacers would have had them sticking out past the arches! The TTRSs on the rear looked absolutely brilliant! Would look good though if they could! Or did you mean putting TTRSs on the back and the newer S3s on the front???

Its because you mentioned selling the alloys then straight onto what was going on, just read as alloys rather than brakes! Well brakes will fit with some tinkering so you are fine!

Hi scottie, did you fit that cluster yourself? And how did you wire up your dumbo's using old indicator wiring or to new door modules?

So after discussions with Nige (cheers fella), I decided to give it a go and fit a dis cluster to my non dis car.

How hard was this mod? And what was involved ? Also does it show your speed on the DIS Screen ?

No, the cluster was fitted by audi. Basically it is the immobiliser coding that you need audi to do.

With the dumbos, I just tapped into the original wiring on the c.e.b to supply the power to them. No door modules needed that way

Not to hard at all. new cluster needs immobiliser coding and then setup with vcds.

Mileage correction is proving me a problem atm though :(

Yes, the speed shows on the dis along with a few extra menus also
 
could you provide us with more information about those DRL:) some close-up photos perhaps?
they look brilliant!
 
Oem ones on the a6? dont think you would have been able to achieve the kink with them. but yours look similar to oem,better than others i' ve seen around.
 
I thought they look like the merc ones, how's have you split you lights and mounted them in? As you can tell few of us interested in how you have done this
 
What DRL's are you lot on about? I've just re-read this thread 3 times looking for them?!
