Are those plates legal? also is that a black grill surround or has it been photoshopped also?

definatly but vinyl in the drainage rails too like mine here it looks alot better because the roof line follows the A pillar

No the plates arn't legal, the legal ones are kept in the boot, Grill surrounds are black allready, did those a couple months ago and no stone chips yet even after passing a gritter on the M5!!

Thanks, i think i will get it done, i would do the 'gutters' too. Did you do yours yourself or did you get someone else to do it? I haven't wrapped anything before so best off getting someone else to do it.

Might look into that then, was thinking of carbon wrapping the rear bumper part above and also the tailgate spoiler too.

maybe try photoshoppin the roof rails black too you may be on to something special here!

i dont think the photo shop does it justice i think it will look pretty slick

Think i will get the roof and gutters done first then see about the roof rails.

If your going for that look I would remove the roof rails alltogether and you will get a smoother look

Might be an idea, if I remove them what's left what holes? Are there caps to put in place?

Black vinyl roof's look good usually, I think you'd need to do the rails too though.

I like the rear bumper transfer, but not the front.

Nay to the black roof. Black grill's = WIN..

Well i have just ordered the lamin-x for the front lights and also for the fogs, so should have that done this weekend. As for the roof think it will have to wait a couple of months now as i have spent enough this month.

Did you buy Lamin-x sheets from the Uk seller or pre-cut sizes from the US?

I bought the sheets from lamin-x.co.uk

No No No No Never remove the roof rails, they give the car its look. Roof could look good, but i think the rails done black would be too much.

Carbon roof bars and lower rear valance, red rears and joey mod or laminx the front lights

Carbon wrapping the roof bars might be good but might have to get someone else to do that as i haven't wrapped anything yet. I have lamin-x ordered for the front lights and fogs, was going to order the lamin-x red for the rears but how do i make the indicator orange??? Also what about the reversing light?. I think i will wrap the rear valance in carbon wrap though, going to order some from ebay and have a play with some little bits first i think.

I think thats what I'm going to do, I'll be interested to hear and see how it goes.

I will try and do a how to on it if that helps. Should hopefully be here tomorrow. May be able to do it at the weekend depends how busy i am with work, otherwise i will do it tuesday. I have ordered the light smoke effect in order to not reduce the light output as much as possible. I will try and get pics of before and after with the light output on the garage door too.

I have fitted the yellow lamin x to the front fogs will hopefully be doing the headlights in the morning. Will get some pics up shortly. It wasn't that difficult to fit quite easy to work with although that may change with the headlights.

I like the headlights but not sure on the fog lights - Personally I would have maybe tried the smoked tint on the fog lights as well to see what they looked like.

Do the headlights still seem as bright?

As where did you get your number plate holders from?

I prefer them yellow. Not sure on the light output yet will find out when it gets dark and I finish work. The surrounds I got from eBay I think they were about a tenner including postage for the pair.

Get the roof and rear bumper done , cause thats exactly what im thinking of doing to mine, our cars are nearly twins, i also have some yellow for the fogs on order:icon_thumright:

I have new Black edition RS4's too but they arent going on til around April.

like the black roof be sweeeeeet without the roof bars fitted

I think I'm with Matt on roof rail removal, think about the A3 Sportbacks you see with and without the rails (they do have much lower rails), when you opt for the sunroof on the sportback it defaults to black roof, rear spoiler and if it has rails they go Black too.

IMO If you black the roof the alu rails will look a bit odd, they need to go Black too! Look forward to seeing what you do in any case...:hubbahubba:

Ha! Just checked the dates. Ah well kept me off ebay for 5 mins..
