Finally got round to cleaning my new A3 Sportback properly. It's a 170 tdi Quattro and I've started mod ding it already. So far I've fitted S3 pedals, metal foot rest, mk2 tt vents and light switch, rs4 gear knob. Still to fit rs6 steering wheel which I'm making some changes to, r32 brakes but not blue ;) A6 bbs split rims and a few other bits and pieces.

Anyway here's some pics

where did you get your air vent covers from? they look a better, duller matt finish than ones i have seen on ebay,
was the dead plate easy enough to fit? bought one recently but havent got round to fitting yet
cheers gary

The vents are not covers there off a mk2 tt there a straight swap for the original vents :)

Dead plate is easy to fit take the original plastic plate out and drill and fit the plate then refit it :)

thanks Chris will need to look out for those, car looks great

Looks great.

Any pics of the interior?

Really like the Car, pedals are a big improvement! Where did you get them from? Do you have part no's and costs by any chance please?

Thanks.

Cheers guys I'll get some more interior pics up I cat wait to get my rs6 steering wheel fitted :) also deleted the rear wiper

Hi mate. Have you got any pics of the s3 brakes behind the split-rims? I've got those wheels and planning that brake upgrade also. Cheers.

Looks a nice car... Do like the S3 pedals. Was thinking of fitting those myself. Not sure about wiper delete or A6 wheels but each to our own!

Is there any coding involved with fitting the new pedals??

No, if I remember correctly they're just a simple swap apart from the accelerator, where you need to replace the whole thing. Also, when you're ordering them there's two versions, one for DSG and one for manual.

Thanks Vazza... Thats good to know as I don't have Vag Com!!

Little update :)

Finishing off the smoothing of my airbag to go in my RS6 steering wheel. Also changed the badge in the wheel to sline as the cars not a rs6 although I wish it was ;)

18" splits will go up for sale soon and got a set of 5 19" S6 rims being refurbed that I'll sell as well.

If anyone knows of a black leather rear seat up for sale let me know :) or fancies swapping their black full leather for my black red I'll throw in the gear gator and stearing wheel for a little extra :)

Chris

i am looking into a sportback to replace mine, looking for a black s-line 2.0TFSI Quattro manual sportback, basically exactly like mine but with rear doors lol.

Do it Robin as Nath will tell Sportbacks are the way forward :) That's why you can only get the rs3 in SB :D
